I don't think termini is in the comics. Agreed with vin on all points about the comics.

Peitro looks like a Flock of Seagulls groupie, even in the comics. It's impossible to make him look anything but "faggish"

Thinking they subvert it. Joes group rescues the group from a threat at terminus. Thinking cannibals.

Agreed this ep was a solid one. The Of Mice and Men nod was solid, I thought. Some thought it was a rip off but I figure you could rip off far worse than Steinbeck. The story was taken from the comics, but done in a way that I was a little surprised by it, which is what they do. A lot of the stuff that Kirkman did in the comics is played out in the show but in a way that either gives what Kirkman was doing more depth, or changes completely what he was going for using the same events. In this case the ep kinda does both of those things as Kirkman seems to be able to sketch a story board a lot of the time, without giving it any depth. So a lot of the time its played for shock value, which in a zombie apocalypse yields diminishing returns. Carol's actions in the comic were performed by Carl so it was also meant to show how a kid growing up in this situation loses regard for human life. It was clumsier in the comic without as much weight for any character. (The basic scene from the end of season 3 where Carl kills the kid from Woodbury was the fill in for it). So the show hits on a lot of the plot points but twists them (on purpose, I assume) usually for the better, imo. Though the scene where Carl was eating the pudding with Rick reaching for him (is he a Zombie, or just all fucked up) was done nearly frame for frame.

I read the comics. Its following them only really as a loose guide. None of this stuff is exactly like the comics.

Agreed on bob. Kind of agree on your other points. Mostly because there aren't many situations that can even exist in the current setup that we haven't already seen. The zombie apacolypse nature of the show kind of limits your options in that regard. My guess is seeing the group trying to assimilate into a pre existing lArger group at Terminus could bring about some different plot points but we likely won't see it this season.

Sasha was featured, imo. Bob and Maggie were the catalysts. Good God what do you guys want out of the plot? It's a zombie apocalypse. There are only so many plot threads for this show. Running from zombies. Hiding from zombies. Killing zombies. Meeting groups of people. Killing people. Not killing people. They've all been done. Character building is the only way to go with this show. I've been digging this half of the season, I'm not sure what's not to like. There have been plenty of walkers in every episode, though for the most part the sense of danger to these characters is lacking and I'm hopeful one of them bites it soon. Was hoping Bob or Beth got it in this one since both had some screen time, that could have completed their mini-arcs. The character building has been decent to me. We revisit individual character motivations and you see how each separate piece of the larger group is motivated after catastrophe. I am kinda hoping one of the groups, doesn't make it to Terminus though.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Nickelodeon reboot is pretty awesome. I watch it with my son and its really good. I would probably watch it by myself even if my son hated it.

Another thing about having an SRO in a school is that it speeds up response of other units. Procedure has changed in the response that these situations get. Police don't set up a perimeter before entering like they used to. They are trained to enter immediately to try and put a swift end to it. The radio contact with someone on scene saves minutes. -
Sleepy Hollow. What a stupid, show. I really like it.

? Signing one does not stop us from signing the other. Did you reach the straw you were grasping at? edit: I hate to say I told... wait. No I don't, I actually really enjoy it. http://www.thegridironpalace.com/forums/index.php?/topic/68998-eagles-re-sign-jeremy-maclin-to-one-year-55m-deal/

Enders game. Liked the book enough to read all of the sequels, which were good but not as good. Thought the movie had pacing issues and the subject matter maybe didn't relate well to a big budget sci fi flick. It wasn't too slow, it went too fast over explaining some things but somehow also went too fast over the action sequences.
