Alright Banger now has the Saints.
-
Confirming the Redskins.
Also DMAC would you mind if I took the Saints again bro seeing as I did a pretty sick job with them last year?
DMac has 4 teams and you currently have 1; the Saints are yours if you want them.
-
You guys sound pretty good, man. Post some Zeppelin covers plz.
-
I think some of us should get two teams before Dmac gets 4... lol
/lettinablackmanknow
Agreed. Anyone with 1 team can hereby claim one of Dmac's, since he has four.
-
Confirm me for Los Marrones
You still want the Jets as well, assuming nobody else claims them?
-
Before I clicked play I thought it was Eddie George. The fact that it was you, oochymp, who posted this, kinda supported that thought.

UPDATE 3/1: All teams are now GMed. This thread is now the discussion thread for the game, where GMs can announce/negotiate trades, and everyone is free to comment on picks/trades made.
If you posted in the previous thread to sign up for a team, you must post again in this thread to confirm within 7 days. After 7 days, any un-confirmed teams will be made vacant.

I, SteVo, hereby confirm my GMing the Minnesota Vikings. Some other notes...
Regarding the :
I'd like to have the Bucs, but I've had them the past 2 years, so if any other Bucs fan wants them they can take them and maybe I can Co-GM with them or just pick another team.
Regarding the :
I can take Tennessee if nobody else wants them, but if anyone else wants to take them go for it
And finaly, one post by F4E I'd like to re-state here, for its importance:
PLEASE NOTE:
This process will require a lot of dedication and time. This is a full 7 round mock draft, with trades and compensatory selections. In it's entirety, this draft took us 6 weeks (1.5 months) to complete last year.
If you feel like you will not be able to meet the rigorous standards that comes with GMing one of these teams... Please do not sign up.
Those of us who are active every day and want this to be a smashing success like it was a season ago will not think less of you for either not participating or pulling our before the draft starts.

Players missing from ours:
HB: Fred Jackson
WR: Vincent Jackson
WR: Reggie Wayne
TE: Antonio Gates

Mike Wallace said contract talks are ongoing with the Steelers, but the wide receiver acknowledged that he might not be playing in Pittsburgh this season."[Pittsburgh is] where I would like to be, but we all know that it is a business and you have certain things you have to handle," Wallace told Sirius NFL Radio, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "So if I have to go elsewhere, you know Pittsburgh will always be in my heart, but I have to do what I have to do."

Would not mind him in midnight green at all, though he's not my top choice (see sig). Dude can stop the run with the best of 'em, and that's what we need more than anything.
-
Kam Chancellor over Adrian Wilson? Really, guys? I'm aware how good Chancellor is and it's good to see him getting credit here at TGP but Wilson has been one of the most complete safeties in the game for a long time.

Just under 60 because I hate the Lightning and Stamkos is overrated.
Okay but seriously, he has a very legitimate shot, but I think he'll come up just short with 57-59 goals.
-
Who's the GM in Houston? When it was clear that they had a great DC, they went and got Manning and Joseph and fixed up that defense to the point that it became a strength instead of a detriment. They also picked up an undrafted FA running back by the name of ARIAN FOSTER. Did they draft Ben Tate? He was a rookie this year or the year before, correct?
Oh, and that offensive line that GM put together. DAMN.
Looking it up...
Rick Smith. Damn, boy. Nice job.
He was a guy I was thinking about for the top 5, though I think Houston's sudden surge this year has more to do with Wade Phillips than anybody. Nevertheless, they have been making some good personnel decisions in Houston for sure.
If I had to do the top 5 again I'd probably put Ozzie Newsome at #5. You made a great argument for him.
-
Headline is a little misleading. There's just an Atlanta journalist speculating that the Falcons will tag Grimes.
-
31 is practically a 2nd rounder. GO NEW ENGLAND GO. Although, I am not so sure that is Hoodies style.
He'll probably sign a less appreciated guy.
I dunno. If Wallace were a diva or a one-year wonder I think the Hoodie might think twice, but he isn't either of those. He's been consistently both productive and improving. Trade pick #31 and the offense is essentially ready to roll, and he can spend the rest of his 25 draft picks on defense.
-
^ Nevermind the Browns would lose their own pick. I guess I now doubt we make a run at Mike Wallace.
So, if teams have to surrender their original pick, does that mean New England could snag Wallace for the 31st overall pick? (They have New Orleans' as well.)
-
What Sean said. There's still one team that needs to draft a QB.
-
#Sarcasm hence the "oh wait" lol
Explained at length...draft a WR or get one of the other ones in FA you dont have to give up a pick for and spend your Draft Picks on defense.
So you're saying the Pats will never win another Super Bowl until they improve their defense? I don't know about that. They came pretty close to winning it this year with a shitty defense--and without Mike Wallace. Adding a deep threat like Wallace would make their offense one of the league's best, IMO.
-
This is an interesting development then as we don't have another replacement unless TT feels Dietrich-Smith can do the job there. Which free agents are there at C?

-
Agreed. Wallace would be a huge addition to your defense
-
i didnt get this right, did i?
Nope. It's perfect. I just somehow never saw this thread until now. Much appreciated, BK.
