Surprises: LeSean McCoy (knew he'd be good this year but didn't expect that much out of him), Jason Peters, Evan Mathis, Brian Rolle, Derek Landri
Dissapointments: DRC (dude has been complete and utter trash), Nnamdi Asomugha, Jaiquan Jarrett (has hardly seen the field), Kurt Coleman, Michael Vick, Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson, Ronnie Brown
Totally forgot about Maclin. Dude is a solid receiver but I keep waiting for him to break out and live up to his 1st round expectations.

Disappointment: Nate Allen, Kurt Coleman

Canton alert.

It won't happen but I can dream can't I?
Well, we are the Dream Team, aren't we?

According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers want Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) to play 25-30 snaps in Week 17.Per Dulac, the Steelers do not want to enter the playoffs with a rusty Roethlisberger missing two consecutive games. The average NFL offense plays roughly 64 snaps per game, so Big Ben would be looking at a halftime exit in an ideal scenario. As long as he practices later this week, Roethlisberger should be under center versus the Browns.

This would be incredibly epic. We can demote Castillo to linebackers coach (where he should have been in the first place), and I'd love to see the type of blitz packages Spags would dial up with the wide nine.

I don't think Gruden has a strong incentive to return to coaching (right now) unless he finds a spot he really likes. He's making head coach money with ESPN, and his job is 100x easier with way less responsibility. All he has to do is tell Jaws how great the players on the field are every week.
-
BUT WAIT
NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports the Rams plan to "make a serious run" at ex-Titans coach Jeff Fisher. The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that Jon Gruden would be hired as head coach, but only if Chargers GM A.J. Smith lands in St. Louis. Fisher, who is also tight with Smith, could be viewed as a fallback option to Gruden. Sources have told the Union-Trib that ESPN is "already preparing" for the departure of Gruden.

Good to see you're getting this thing going again, Razor. Always makes for fun discussion. Though isn't it a bit early this year?

The Atlanta Falcons aren't actually mad about the record...
they're mad because the Saints proved to everybody that the only reason the Falcons are in the playoffs is to get their asses whupped in the first round. Have fun going to New Orleans, Dallas, or New York.
-
Gruden and A.J. Smith sounds like a good plan, but I always thought Gruden was the type of coach who liked to make his own personnel decisions. This should be interesting.

I could be wrong, but my understanding was that that had calmed down a lot in the Linc compared to the Vet, but either way that's more of an indictment on the Eagles' fans than the stadium
It has. The only people who will tell you otherwise are disillusioned rival fans who want the reputation to perpetuate.

Dude, I don't know if you've heard the good news, but Obama is going to fix the economy. We're saved.
-
And let's not forget about going to Lincoln Financial Field and having to fear for your safety if you cheer for the opposing team? Fans not being able to cheer for their own team without having pieces of dog shit barking down their backs? Unacceptable.
The Coliseum is in Oakland, dawg.

Voting against Cowboys Stadium is either homerism (which I'll grant a pass on) or blatant Cowboy hate. Regardless of how you feel about the Cowboys, Jerry Jones, etc, it's the best stadium in football.
Lies. It's an obnoxious abomination of a stadium, fitting for a franchise with an obnoxious owner. And let's not forget about the issues they had when the Super Bowl was there. Fans with tickets not able to go to the Super Bowl? Unacceptable.

Information
Since we all love tournaments around here, it's time for another one: NFL stadiums. In each matchup, simply vote for the superior stadium as you see it.
First, the four stadiums in each division will do battle for two rounds so that eight stadiums remain. From there we will reseed mostly based on margin of victory in previous rounds, then vote single-elimination style until we have a winner.
