Baldur's Gate 3 announcement, from the same people who did the Divinity: Original Sin games. (First one was pretty good, though I haven't finished it yet. Second one is supposed to be even better) Curious to see how this turns out. Baldur's Gate II is pretty overrated, IMO. Though I will readily admit that's probably cuz I didn't play it at the time of release and only played it for the first time a couple years ago. Minsc will never not be annoying though, no matter what year it is.

Yeah, I looked it up right after I posted. Overseas numbers seem good. It's just gotta do good enough so we get more. Hopefully I'll still have that same opinion after GvK.

Saw it tonight too. Godzilla '14 is a better film, but KotM is a better spectacle, I guess would be the best way to put it. '14 is better shot (I'd really like to see Gareth Edwards version of KotM, but alas), and I at least cared for a couple of the characters in it. The pacing in KotM makes it to where I don't really care about any of the primary characters (except one, sort of), which sort of hurts it. It needed to slow down, but given the events that take place, it can't. It also needs to make certain emotional arcs actually deserved and have worth instead of it just happening with the expectation that you're just supposed to feel bad because of what's happening. Monsters are cool though. Godzilla powering up his atomic breath never gets old ('14 handled that better too, but it's still cool in this one), and the final fight is probably the best, and coolest part of the movie (as it should be). Some of the set pieces are pretty neat too and it would've been cool if we spent a lil more time on them. Looking at you... but I guess we just gotta go fast... Also, shoutout to the music. Godzilla's theme gave me serious One Winged Angel vibes (Is it the chanting? It's probably the chanting) the couple times it popped up, thought those were cool moments. Not sure the last time was that I actually cared about a particular theme in a movie. If the post-credits scene is an indicator, Godzilla vs. Kong is gonna be nuts. And by nuts, I mean, absurd. Though it's probably gonna need to be to get as much crammed into these as possible because I'm not sure how many, if any at all, we're gonna get after GvK since it doesn't seem like KotM had a great opening weekend...

So Kevon Looney broke his collar bone, and Klay has a strained hamstring. And Durant is ded, obvs. What's it say about the Raptors if they can't beat a fairly depleted Golden State team? Sorta feels like we're getting to the point where Golden State can't win, or at the very least shouldn't win. Unless it turns out that Durant isn't ded and life as we know it is a storybook.

I understood some of these words. TGP now has another famous person out in the world now, so that's cool.

Game of Thrones Final Season **SPOILER WARNING**
Vin replied to Thanatos's topic in General Entertainment
Way to break the board, Than. -
What Chargers QB am I missing when Fouts and Rivers are already on the list?

I've got this weird feeling that this game is gonna be like six hours long. The cast is fascinating though, I really hope the game doesn't end up being terrible.

Pats vs. someone, prolly. Saints feel like a good bet. I don't believe in the Rams until Gurley doesn't look ded, but, he ded, so...

Zack also hates Steph for some reason. These finals are gonna go to 7. May as well book it.

Razor's Ramblings: What if the 2018 Season ended at halftime?

Even in alternate realities the Jags still suck. -
So yeah, John Wick 3. Enjoyable, though I'd probably rank 'em 2 > 3 > 1. Three can't be first because, well, you just gotta see it. Kinda wish we had more moments and tone of the last forty or so minutes sprinkled throught-out the rest of the movie, but such is life. I will say though, I am sorta tired of these movies having violent scenes that end up sticking with me. Two had a couple, and this one is the same way. It's just not "fun", and kinda puts a wet blanket on the overall feel of things.

Spoilering this for Zack, I guess. -
Oh no.

Game of Thrones Final Season **SPOILER WARNING**
Vin replied to Thanatos's topic in General Entertainment
So with this season being critically trash, and since they don't have book material and GMRNS to fall back on, how bad is DnD's Star Wars trilogy gonna be? -
Kinda makes sense, since there were weird trade/release rumors prior to the draft, and I don't think that happens if everything is good, either with him or between him and the team. Hopefully whatever the issue is can be resolved.

That makes the Cap stuff a little bit more palatable. Still don't like it.

Saw Endgame tonight. Tl;dr -

One line in and I'm already not digging Sephiroth's voice. Snap judgments are fun.

Re-watch complete. I still sorta wish the show ended at season four, but I guess no one likes a happy ending. The first half of the last season feels rushed, like they had a goal in mind and they just needed to get to it instead of letting things happening naturally, but I guess that's what happens when you're under a time constraint. Walt being a dick right off the bat doesn't jive with the end of season four, and the random ass-pull solutions from Jesse feel like just that, random and not really earned, but whatever I guess. Season five does have the best final three episodes of any of the seasons, so it's got that going for it. Re-watching the series it's also sorta funny to see that we even got Better Call Saul. There's like zero fleshing out, backstory wise, of both Saul and Mike. Mike has his cop and family stuff, which isn't much, and Saul has practically nothing. Pretty good that you can get people to buy into a spinoff show using those characters, though maybe it's that they were fairly blank slates that makes it work. Bring on the movie that has Jesse driving all the way to Alaska.
