Nice to see Harang pitch a good game against the Brewers today. Chris Johnson dropped the barrel of the bat on a knee high pitch from Garza and gave the Braves their only run but it was enough. Braves had lost 9 of 10 straight games in Milwaukee until the last two wins there.

lol yeah i could see the active one on that day, just not a matchup total. Sorry someway I had missed that we were starting on week 2.

I will admit that I understand why the NFL has a single elimination format but by NO means do I think that single elimination always gives you the BEST team. Too much luck involved in a one game elimination format. But it is what it is lol.

How do you get to see your matchup totals? Everytime I try to look all I see are --- across where stats should be. Yahoo is much different that the cbs, espn, and even the old mlb leagues that I used to play in the past and I am having a lot of difficulty finding information on it that should be common place (and probably is, just isn't intuitive to me).

Braves will starting soon. Unfortunately with no cable I won't be watching it. Thank goodness the Braves have the largest radio network in sports.

Okay I will admit that I am new to Yahoo fantasy sports but is there a disabled list at all? I looked and looked this morning and couldn't find it. Kershaw is on the DL in real life and wanted to see if I could put him on DL in the fantasy league and use someone else while he is out. Couldn't figure out how to do it. NEVERMIND....i found out that although i never saw a tab saying manage DL or anything like that if you click on the player's position it gives ya the option.

Not sure if someone was going to start one of these or not. The Red Sox have their World Series trophy (Postseason is over) and free agency is about to start. Who re-signs with their 2013 team and who ends up leaving for the proverbial "greener" pasture. Who ends up traded? I am sure many people will have some hot topics before the Hot Stove season is over and Spring Training gets here (can't wait already lol). I expect Robinson Cano to re-sign with the Yankees but I also expect Brian McCann to end up in the American League (most likely Rangers or even Yanks).

I just hope that he doesn't end up a panther or a buc.

I thought after the Jan Kemp ordeal back at UGA in the 80's that most of this type of stuff was past us. I will admit that I wasn't overly a fan of hers at the time, but she stood up for the right thing in a difficult time. I didn't say I didn't check my order...how do you think i realize it is wrong lol. The point is the order is not correct after being rang up correctly and if you are in a fast food business then you don't run out of staples like ketchup, straws, and drink lids. oh i will say the wife sometimes takes the younger kids there simply because the kids are under the impression that McD has the best kid's meal toys. Service can really make or break your total experience though. Shocking how little importance it is given by the vast number of fast food chains. I don't live near a taco bell but i'd like to try breakfast from there. Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. There is a mcdonalds here and i absolutely refuse to order anything from there. It isn't really that the food is terrible there (same generic non exciting menu as i guess any other mcdonalds---in fact in late 80's the then current vp of marketing for mcdonalds southeast region told me that they don't try to do anything 'great' just consistent food from location to location) but that the service is normally horrible imho. When you get orders wrong 90% of the time or more (I do have a large family admittedly) and they have on numerous times ran out of basic necessities such as KETCHUP, STRAWS, and DRINK LIDS you know they aren't learning from lessons from their failures. If you don't take care of your customers needs they will go vote with their dollar elsewhere.

lol unfortunately all i can picture are the results of a bad experience from my early 20's. Hot days, guys, ball fields, beer and icecream doesn't mix well.....at all.

Marte is young still and definitely has a chance to improve so I think this is overall a good deal for the Bucs. Even if he doesn't improve but just stays roughly the same as last season you are talking about a good outfielder with speed and some occasional pop in his bat. Not a bad deal at all.

Braves also signed Aaron Harang. Not a great pick up but I guess they feel that the has more to offer than Garcia. I guess we will see how it plays out.

I would hope that it is just rhetoric because very few would want a war (that would be a terrible thing). I am seriously questioning Putin's motives though because it appears as if his administration has been putting out a lot of anti-american and anti-west propaganda of late. Actually the last game that me and the family watched in person was the game where he hit his last homer and they came back from trailing big time to beat the phillies in the last inning.

Kewl. As I said earlier I never said everything that was posted there was factual and that there was definitely bogus stuff there. My comments were about how well approximating the plots were months before the movies came out. As I said though I wish the site was still up because I found many posts there interesting. I guess what is interesting to me just wasn't as interesting to you and that you either didn't read the plot details that he had...or don't recall them. In either case no biggie. The big thing is until we get something 'official' all kinds of star wars fans will guess and suppose at what the new movie will contain. I don't think that is a bad thing.

Thanatos are you speaking from what you read only on wookieepedia (which is decidedly very negative toward him and i only posted it because it did at least authenticate that a site however dubious was up for quite some time)? or did you ever go to the website years ago and read some of the things that were posted? I really wish that SuperShadow still worked.....the two star wars movies before ...attack of the clones and revenge of the sith they actually had very close to the plot lines there a few months before the movies. And Thanatos I guess what I was saying about Corran Horn is that he wasn't included in any of the movies nor was he included in any of the clone wars cartoons ....so he isn't etched in stone anywhere. Now that the movies are going into a time period where Horn was playing an important role I am very interested to see if he makes an appearance. I don't know exactly what type of medical condition he has but I can speak from experience that taking heavy medications and driving don't mix. The man has enough money as was mentioned that he shouldn't HAVE to drive himself anywhere...although it is never as simple as that. I currently have about 6 of the meds i take each day that warn against driving or operating heavy machinery. I try extremely hard not to drive within 4 hours of taking these meds anymore. Unfortunately the very first time that I took them in combination I had a doctor appointment out of town--but not the one that I had visited the day before for another issue (lol almost all my doctor visits are at least 30 miles away). My wife was with me because I am terrible about remembering exactly what the doc says and she doesn't think I am always capable of relaying to him all the info about my health that SHE thinks I need to. Anyway on the trip there (I did drive and she was 'supervising") she frequently asked me if I was okay and if I needed her to drive. Before we even got to the doctor's office she had taken over driving for me. Later I didn't recall the doctor visit, or even what we had to eat that day. We did get an adjustment to my doses and thankfully I didn't injure anyone at the time. The truth is even well meaning people can have issues with medication. I don't know Irsay's situation but I have no pity for anyone who purposely takes pills or drinks for a buzz/high and puts others in danger because of not caring. Hopefully Irsay pulls it all together and realizes some things he could had done differently not to put others in danger in the future.

Yuuzhon Vong are droid hating aliens from outside known space. They are from a line of books that were very well written where the Solo kids and other younger jedi were starting to come into their own. I doubt (and I hope not) that they are in this upcoming movie. I THINK this movie will be more about establishing a third generation of skywalker (or solo---skywalker's grandchildren in other words) to the fans. On a side note I'd love to see at least small bit roles by Corran Horn and Mara Jade (and I'd be shocked if they hadn't married her to Luke like in the books though) in the movie. Horn is by far my favorite non-canon character.
