Alliance Of American Football
FartWaffles replied to Sparty's topic in Miscellaneous Football Leagues
As far as I know Tebow turned them down for baseball, and Kaep turned them down for dinero. I could be wrong, but I didn't hear of anything involving Manziel and the AAF. Pretty sure he was committed to the CFL, until his release. -

Avalanche have lost TWELVE times in overtime... Probably will end up being the difference between whether they make the playoffs or not.

Thanks Vin! I'll just go full-on Lone Star State and take the as well.
-
I'll take a second team, but only if it's the team with the least amount of draft picks. Trying to do research on that. If anyone can help me on that, I'd be much obliged.

I just gotta say... We are witnessing a debate on AAF team power rankings. I love this message board so much! Also... GO COMMANDERS! -
Anyone really surprised if this comes out to be true? Ever since his wife died, he's been well known to be that "pervy old man" hanging around women A LOT younger than him.

Kareem Hunt needs to be on this list.

My guess is we all laugh about this when he's playing for the Steelers next season. (Maybe traded after '19-'20) No I don't want his headaches on my Texans either. Amazing talent, but I like what the Texans have built in their locker room of no drama bs, and team first guys.

You not pumped for the team that plays in your Motherland?
-
Well Kyrie had been on record saying he wants to play for the Knicks before being traded to the Celtics, and this was before any chance of Zion being in the plans. Doubt he plays with LeBron ever again. I didn't even know the Lakers were even rumored to be pursuing Kyrie...

It was for a league debut so interest may have been peaked, but at the same time it was better than an NBA game with two pretty good West teams going against each other. -
Welcome back! It has been a while. You should always just check-in every once in a while even if you don't think you'll be a regular poster. I remember you were definitely one of the better members when active.

How would you feel if they draft Kyler Murray?

'08 Steelers were up until 8AM the night before XLIII
FartWaffles replied to Zack_of_Steel's topic in AFC
Kenny Stabler was known to party all Saturday night and still get going to play on Sundays on a regular basis. When he played for the Oilers, my dad witnessed it himself at a bar where Stabler was basically blackout drunk the night before a game. BC stahp. -

I've got A LOT going on in life these days. I can definitely do one team, but I don't know if I can manage two this year. I'll let y'all know once we get it rolling. -

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2361/julius-peppers Julius Peppers announced his retirement after 17 seasons. Peppers, 39, was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2002 draft and won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors after recording 12 sacks in just 12 games. Peppers spent the first eight years of his career with the Panthers before striking a mammoth free-agent deal with the Bears and spending four years there before a three-year stint with the Packers. Peppers returned to Carolina in 2017 with 11 sacks as a 37-year-old. Peppers' 159.5 career sacks rank fourth all time behind Bruce Smith, Reggie White, and Kevin Greene. He also picked off 11 passes. Peppers was a nine-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro and missed only six games in his career. He made just as big of an impact off the field. Peppers is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

So why are you still here?

Knicks gonna Knick! I honestly thought they were on the right path, especially if they were to draft Zion and the rumors of Kyrie wanting to play there. Now...
-
I'd be surprised if they don't draft a QB within the first 100 picks, if not the 1st round.
