Place your Superb Owl bets now!

Titans vs. who gives a shit Seriously, Patriots vs. Rams feels like a pretty safe bet
  2. This is always a fun thread to keep up with over the off-season, now that we're through the draft most of the pieces should be in place, so what do you think your team is going to look like in September? Here's my stab at the Titans: Offense (25): QB (2): Marcus Mariota, Ryan Tannehill RB (3): Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis, David Fluellen WR (6): Corey Davis, Adam Humphries, AJ Brown, Taywan Taylor, Cameron Batson, Tajae Sharpe TE (4): Delanie Walker, Jonnu Smith, Anthony Firkser, MyCole Pruitt T (4): Taylor Lewan, Jack Conklin, Dennis Kelly, Tyler Marz IOL (6): Ben Jones, Rodger Saffold, Corey Levin, Kevin Pamphile, Nate Davis, Hroniss Grasu Defense (25): DL (5): Jurrell Casey, DaQuan Jones, Austin Johnson, Brent Urban, Dee Liner LB (11): Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown, Harold Landry, Cameron Wake, Sharif Finch, Wesley Woodyard, D'Andre Walker, David Long, Darren Bates, Kamalei Correa, Gimel President CB (5): Adoree' Jackson, Logan Ryan, Malcolm Butler, LeShaun Sims, Tye Smith S (4): Kevin Byard, Kenny Vaccaro, Amani Hooker, Dand Cruikshank Specialists (3): K (1): Ryan Succop P (1): Brett Kern LS (1): Beau Brinkley After looking it over, we could definitely stand to add some depth to the defensive backfield, I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring in a depth piece there at the expense of a LB or WR (maybe it's time to give up on Sharpe?) but overall the team looks pretty damn good. You also might notice our first round pick, Jeffery Simmons, is missing, I'm expecting he'll start the season on IR because of his injury during draft prep with the hope that we'll be able to take him off late in the season and work him in.

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

My draft for the Titans: #19: Ed Oliver - Actual Draft #9 #43: Garrett Bradbury - Actual Draft #18 #88: Terrill Hanks - Actual Draft Undrafted, signed with Miami #157: Gardner Minshew - Actual Draft #178 #233: DeVonte Dedmon - Actual Draft Undrafted, unsigned as far as I can tell So out of five I got two top 20 picks, two undrafted players (one of which was fully expected) and one right around where I drafted, I'd say that balances out to thoroughly mediocre, which is what I usually aim for in this

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

So my first and second round picks were both gone by the Titans first pick in the actual draft, I think that means I did well
  6. I guess I got skipped? Didn't realize I was up but my guy's still on the board so here goes: With the 233rd pick the Tennessee Titans select: DeVonte Dedmon, WR, William & Mary Pure homer pick, I'm not even sure he'll sign somewhere undrafted, probably a training camp or practice squad body at most, but we need a receiver and I'd rather take a guy I know

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

I'm gonna have extremely limited availability starting Friday, so if we could go ahead and get to pick 233 that'd be great
  9. With the 157th Pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Gardner Minshew, QB, Washington State
  10. With the 88th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Terrill Hanks, OLB, New Mexico State

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

Remember when I said I was planning on going a different direction in the first round until Oliver fell? Bradbury was that direction, our interior oline really fell apart last season and Bradbury instantly improves the group stepping into the Center role, shifting Ben Jones to LG and leaving Josh Kline at RG or we can upgrade that spot in free agency Ultimately what Bradbury should do is give us solid starters for the foreseeable future at the three most important positions in Lewan at LT, Conklin at RT, and Bradbury at C. I'm really hoping the Titans can land Bradbury even if it's in the first, if the draft falls the way it has for the Titans I will be ecstatic.
  12. After a trade: With the 43rd Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans Select: Garrett Bradbury, C, NC State The Green Bay Packers (PD) are on the clock

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

Still looking to trade up, for now, since I'm moving up over 15 spots, I'm offering the 51 and 82 straight up, PM me if you're interested

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

Titans are looking to trade up as well, offering my second rounder and third rounder (#51 and 82) for a higher second rounder with a late round pick to be negotiated

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

I'd planned to go a different direction with this pick, but once I did some research Oliver was a guy I couldn't pass up on. We definitely have bigger needs, but our Dline has been Casey and the bums for years, this should fix that.
  16. With the 19th Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

sorry I'm late getting my pick in, I was out of town all day yesterday and wasn't expecting to get to my pick since we were ten picks away Friday, I'll have my pick in in the next 5-10 minutes

Nick Foles to sign with Jaguars

I figured interest would be at least somewhat limited when he didn't get franchised, I'm sure the Eagles would have done that if they thought they could get anything for him and if a lot of teams were interested they'd be able to get at least a late round pick for him. That said, I'm definitely surprised that the number of teams interested seems to be 1. I was really enjoying watching Jacksonville waste their defensive talent by not having a competent QB.

2019 TGP Mock Draft (Discussion Thread/Sign-ups)

I can half-ass the Titans, I at least know what team needs are and there are plenty of sites with player rankings. This'll give me an excuse to get on here and actually post more often.

    2019 NFL.com Playoff Challenge

Congrats Thana, I'm a little disappointed we only had five people participating, but everyone did have a full lineup every week, so there's that
  22. Multiple sites host variations of this, but we've done it on NFL.com in the past so it was easy to just reactivate our league, although everyone will need to re-register even if you were in it last year. here's the link to the group: https://playoffchallenge.fantasy.nfl.com/group/155394 password is taco Scoring hasn't changed from last year (and it's set by the website): Passing: 1 point per 25 yards, 4 points per TD, 2 points per 2pt conversion, -2 per INT Rushing/Recieving: 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD, 2 points per 2pt conversion, -2 points per fumble lost, 6 points per fumble recovery TD kicking: 3 points per fg<50 yards, 5 points per fg 50+ yards, 1 point per PAT Defense/Special Teams: 6 points per fumble/int/kick return TD, 2 points per INT, 2 points per fumble recovery, 2 points per safety, 1 point per sack, 5 points per team win; offensive and special teams points allowed (doesn't include points allowed by the offense through int or fumble returns) : 0=10 points; 1-6=7 points, 7-13=4 points; 14-20=1 point; 21-27=0 points; 28-34=-1 point; 35+=-4, team win=5 points You get to change your lineups before each game, but each player's score is multiplied by the number of consecutive weeks that he's on your roster, so it's beneficial to stick with the same lineup if you can. If anyone has any issues getting signed up let me know.
