With the 88th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Terrill Hanks, OLB, New Mexico State

Remember when I said I was planning on going a different direction in the first round until Oliver fell? Bradbury was that direction, our interior oline really fell apart last season and Bradbury instantly improves the group stepping into the Center role, shifting Ben Jones to LG and leaving Josh Kline at RG or we can upgrade that spot in free agency
Ultimately what Bradbury should do is give us solid starters for the foreseeable future at the three most important positions in Lewan at LT, Conklin at RT, and Bradbury at C. I'm really hoping the Titans can land Bradbury even if it's in the first, if the draft falls the way it has for the Titans I will be ecstatic.

Still looking to trade up, for now, since I'm moving up over 15 spots, I'm offering the 51 and 82 straight up, PM me if you're interested

I'd planned to go a different direction with this pick, but once I did some research Oliver was a guy I couldn't pass up on. We definitely have bigger needs, but our Dline has been Casey and the bums for years, this should fix that.

With the 19th Pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

sorry I'm late getting my pick in, I was out of town all day yesterday and wasn't expecting to get to my pick since we were ten picks away Friday, I'll have my pick in in the next 5-10 minutes

I figured interest would be at least somewhat limited when he didn't get franchised, I'm sure the Eagles would have done that if they thought they could get anything for him and if a lot of teams were interested they'd be able to get at least a late round pick for him. That said, I'm definitely surprised that the number of teams interested seems to be 1. I was really enjoying watching Jacksonville waste their defensive talent by not having a competent QB.

I can half-ass the Titans, I at least know what team needs are and there are plenty of sites with player rankings. This'll give me an excuse to get on here and actually post more often.

Congrats Thana, I'm a little disappointed we only had five people participating, but everyone did have a full lineup every week, so there's that

Both have now been confirmed, I still think it's a little silly that they have to wait to make it official

I keep opening this thread hoping someone's seen Glass and will tell me whether it's worth seeing in theaters

I just updated the OP, little slow, sorry, looks like only two openings left, both expected to hire coaches from teams still active, with the Dolphins expecting to bring in Brian Flores from the Patriots and the Bengals expected to bring in Zac Taylor from the Rams

NFL.com still lists both Fangio and Kitchens as "expected hires" or "reports" from "sources" so I'm not updating the OP just yet, but both seem like solid hires
-
Kingsbury, Arians, and LaFleur have all been announced as official on NFL.com, so they're added to the OP
I have no idea what LaFleur did this season to boost his resume, but good for him, unfortunately for Tennessee it means another new OC for Mariota, our fifth new playcaller since he was drafted, I wouldn't mind seeing someone internal that's been groomed to replace him so there isn't a huge shift, but I also kinda hope they wait until the dust settles with head coaches as I think some of the HC candidates could be great candidates if they don't land a HC job
Also an interesting note on Arians, since he retired last season the Cardinals still had his rights, Tampa swapped a sixth round pick for an Arizona seventh rounder in this year's draft to be able to sign him

sorry, that should say "round" rather than "game" you're right, although I will note that players don't lock into your roster until their team's game that week, so anyone who wants to join still can and can use any players playing tomorrow or just build a team of players on teams with the bye and lock in the multiplier for next week

Only four people, let's got more!

Multiple sites host variations of this, but we've done it on NFL.com in the past so it was easy to just reactivate our league, although everyone will need to re-register even if you were in it last year.
here's the link to the group: https://playoffchallenge.fantasy.nfl.com/group/155394
password is taco
Scoring hasn't changed from last year (and it's set by the website):
Passing: 1 point per 25 yards, 4 points per TD, 2 points per 2pt conversion, -2 per INT
Rushing/Recieving: 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD, 2 points per 2pt conversion, -2 points per fumble lost, 6 points per fumble recovery TD
kicking: 3 points per fg<50 yards, 5 points per fg 50+ yards, 1 point per PAT
Defense/Special Teams: 6 points per fumble/int/kick return TD, 2 points per INT, 2 points per fumble recovery, 2 points per safety, 1 point per sack, 5 points per team win; offensive and special teams points allowed (doesn't include points allowed by the offense through int or fumble returns) : 0=10 points; 1-6=7 points, 7-13=4 points; 14-20=1 point; 21-27=0 points; 28-34=-1 point; 35+=-4, team win=5 points
You get to change your lineups before each game, but each player's score is multiplied by the number of consecutive weeks that he's on your roster, so it's beneficial to stick with the same lineup if you can. If anyone has any issues getting signed up let me know. -
I will note in a second post that I have seen the articles about the Cardinals getting rid of Steve Wilks, including him telling players he was going to be gone, but I haven't seen anything official so it's not going in the OP just yet
EDIT: Of course, within half an hour of posting this it's on NFL.com as official, OP is updated
-
It's that time of year again. As a reminder, I will update all official changes in this post, feel free to post any speculation you want in the thread and any news relating to interviews can be centralized, but until a firing/hiring is officially announced on NFL.com or a team's website I will not update this post. Here we go:
Team - Old Coach - New Coach (2018 position)
Bengals - Marvin Lewis - Zac Taylor (Rams QB Coach)
Broncos - Vance Joseph - Vic Fangio (Bears DC)
Browns - Hue Jackson - Freddie Kitchens (Browns RB Coach, interim OC)
Buccaneers - Dirk Koetter - Bruce Arians (None, retired as Cardinals HC after 2017 season)
Cardinals - Steve Wilks - Kliff Kingsbury (Texas Tech HC)
Dolphins - Adam Gase - Brian Flores (Patriots DC)
Jets - Todd Bowles - Adam Gase (Dolphins HC)
Packers - Mike McCarthy - Matt LaFleur (Titans OC)

Well, Jacksonville and Tampa went into complete freefall, but what's most interesting to me is that only two of these teams are in the playoffs, the other five are eliminated, meaning just as many teams that started 2-0 made the playoffs as teams that started 0-2, truly a weird season for the nfl

Well, Houston and Seattle have both clinched playoff spots, and Houston is in the driver's seat to win the division
