I would point out that as a linebacker, Sean Lee is of course going to have more tackles than a good DB. A good DB doesn't let the guy get the ball in the first place, and is rarely in on stopping the run unless the RB breaks a big one and gets past the LBs. While Lee is a great player, I'd agree with Bware. At the moment, it's Jared Allen. If he breaks the sack record, I don't think there would be much of a question. And he is certainly on track to do so.

Zack, I got yours. Not only did Goodell have a 12-1 record, he also nailed the tiebreaker exactly with a 30. If only you had gone for the Bucs, you could have had the ultimate perfect week. He has, however, regained the lead since Eefluxx had a bad week. 9-4 assuming the Ravens beat the Jags.

I thought as much when I saw it. That's what it looked like to me when the play happened, said so to one of my friends who was watching the game with me. It would be a big loss to the Skins.

Colts stuck close to the Steelers and Bucs. I'm going with Miami, still.
-
I don't care who the QB is, or how bad he is. You don't taunt an opponent when he is down with an injury. And yes, if Avril actually kicked at Ryan, he should be suspended.
-
Agreed. If Suh really did do what the Falcons say he did, then that is simply classless. You don't taunt a guy when he's injured, I'm sorry.

Oakland's playoff hopes may have left them when Jason Campbell did. McFadden getting hurt is also really bad, if he doesn't come back at 100% the Raiders are finished.

Update: Steve Smith rips past Redskins for 143 yards
Thanatos replied to Vin's topic in NFL Game Day
All those people before the beginning of the season that said Smitty was past his prime: LOL. Panthers are fun to watch. We may be a young team that still makes lots of mistakes that cost us games we should otherwise win, but we are fun to watch. Last year was just painful. Next year the South better look out. -
Where did you get that from? An NFL analyst speculated that Luck *could* do something like that, but Luck or his father has said nothing about that. You can't attack someone for what someone else has said they *might* do.
-
This is a stupid rule, if it is a rule. Dude was calling his wife... come on, man.
-
Steve Smith.
-
4-3 for me as well.
-
I'm going with Battle myself. Adam Rank pointed out something, however- Marshawn Lynch has been doing decent the last few weeks, and he's about a Browns team that is sub-par against the run. Not horrible, but below average. He might also be a solid play.

Someone takes fantasy football a bit too seriously. You can tell the guy he made a bad trade, in your opinion, and I happen to agree with you, without coming off as an asshole.
-
ESPN might do that regardless of whether or not she wants them to, though.
-
I thought the whole reason for the Colts not signing Garrard was because of something in his background? Now I'm just confused.
-
Yes this is old. Still pretty funny.

New Project: Top Players of each Draft Class.
Thanatos replied to RazorStar's topic in General NFL Talk
You did NOT just put Chad Ochocinco over Steve Smith. The rest look pretty good. I'll make one for that draft as well and see if I agree. -
It's hype. Luck has not said anything like this, and doesn't like the idea of a team sucking just to get him anyway. Or at least he said as much. OT: You trade it away for as many draft picks as you can get and pick up a bunch of weapons for Bradford, and some help wherever else the Rams need it, (not really sure where exactly, I'd say O-line off the top of my head).
-
It may have saved his life. Who knows the next time he would have gotten the type of scan that would reveal something like that?
-
It's not this season the Raiders have ruined but possibly their next four or five from losing all those draft picks.
-
I'm going to guess we have it right now. Officially, I can't find a record on it.
-
Voided? I'm not sure I've ever heard of that happening before. Interesting.

Why the heck does Congress get a say in this? Yes, the NFL should be working on this, but it should be from the NFL's side of things. Someone please educate me as to where Congress gets the authority to regulate the NFL.
