It's a typical response by anyone who is tired of the lies that Trump cultists keep spewing. You certainly made me upset at one point in time. I just feel pity for you at this point. That anyone could be so dumb as to believe Trump actually gives two shits about them just blows my mind. And I can't really go to a safe space at this point, as I've been classified as an emergency worker and am likely being exposed on a daily basis while working my tail off to help people keep going. The President of the United States now thinks he can give people medical advice. Please do NOT take Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin together. First off, Zithromax is an antibiotic and there is no evidence it would affect COVID19. Nor should it, COVID19 is a virus. Secondly, Zithromax increases the effect of Hydroxychloroquine, (which I guess is why he suggests taking them together), the issue is taking both of them together can cause arrythmia of the heart. It is rare, but its more likely in older patients, exactly the kind of people who would be most likely to follow his advice. A doctor can determine if the risks outweigh the effects, the issue with Trump tweeting it is people taking their kids z-packs, a common RX for fighting bacterial infections, when they're already on other drugs and they really shouldn't be doing so. It's a fairly common prescription and odds are quite a few people have some laying around the house.

It really soured me on Bernie. You can't do anything in politics if you refuse to compromise at all, all you're left with is feel-good sounding principles that your base likes but it never gets passed.

The impact on the fairness of Sports is the absolute last thing we are worried about. This is a global crisis. It's going to get worse. We had an emergency meeting of all pharmacy heads in the state of Indiana via conference call yesterday. I ain't trying to scare anyone here, but the CDC's estimates are going to come out and its not pretty. The estimates from our side is putting this, at an absolute minimum- three months shut down. This is assuming everyone follows all recommendations. The more realistic expectation at this point is 12-18 months. They are going to close everything for a good while. People say 3% mortality rate, not a big deal. COVID19 is almost certainly going to infect upwards of 75 million Americans, at least. That's the low end. That's over 2 million dead. Hopefully the US's advances in medicine can keep the mortality rate even lower than normal, but if people aren't being allowed free testing and treatment, our medical tech will be largely meaningless. It will be much higher if we don't take it seriously. Canada is expecting 70% infection. If the US gets the same, that's 230 million infected, and three times the number of deaths. This is also assuming the damn thing doesn't mutate. We need to act now, it is absolutely critical to keep this as least bad as we can. Wash your damn hands. Cough in your arm. Stay the fuck away from everyone. Do not gather in groups of 10+. For the next two weeks, if at all possible, stay in doors as much as possible. Or at least away from any populated areas. Act like its pneumonia that you have advance warning you are going to get- stock up on everything you would get for pneumonia, (preferably you have already done this, but if not, it is worth ONE trip to go get the shit. Don't breath on anyone when you go.) Do not go to the hospital unless you start having trouble breathing then get the fuck to the ER immediately. Do not wait at all, if you have COVID19 symptoms and you start having trouble breathing, you need to get treatment ASAP. Trump said earlier the world is at war with an invisible enemy, and that is exactly what this is. We have taken it lightly for too damn long. Glad the Pres is finally on board.

I think she'd be okay, not great. And yeah I don't think Harris would cause any black voters to leave. People aren't really voting for Biden as much as against Trump. That generally doesn't work, but given how hated Trump is, and how the economy is tanking due to his absolutely ridiculous mishandling of the coronavirus, which is just hilarious in how utterly incompetent he is, it might work this time around. I still say Sanders has the better shot. We see independents going for Sanders over Biden so far. But if the economy is truly tanking, Trump's strongest argument is gone and likely his re-election hopes as well.

Who's going to care about that? The moderates that just want Trump gone? Don't think so. The far left? They're not going to be persuaded by Trump attack ads, they've made up their minds one way or another already. Trump's base? For sure, but they'd vote for him no matter if Jesus was running against him. Trump's die-hard supporters are a cult at this point. You're certainly trying to make the case that Bernie's die hard ones are as well. Bernie is getting smashed next Tuesday and from here on out. His last shot was this past primary. I re-iterate: Voter fraud is not a thing. Quit spreading baseless conspiracy theories. Now, I do think they need to have the debate to give Biden some practice in a 1-on-1 scenario, but Bernie has zero chance of turning this around. The American people, at least the Dem electorate, do not want to risk that the country will go from far right to far left in one election. They want Trump out and Biden has always given them the best chance to attract Never Trumpers and moderates. If the far left would actually show up to the polls, they would win, but time and again they prove that they care more about talking on social media than actually voting. Until they do so, the Dems have no reason to prioritize their votes over the moderate Dems that actually show up to the voting booth. Edit to add: Since Biden's health will likely be attacked, he needs a strong VP pick, one that not only Dems can support but one that the moderates wouldn't be too upset with. I think Julian Castro would be a good pick strategically for those reasons and one more. A lot of Bernie's support comes from the Latino coalition that built up behind him. Castro would potentially persuade some of them to vote for Biden that wouldn't otherwise. I think he's more likely to go with Kamala Harris, and that would be ok as well, but purely from a strategic standpoint, I think Castro is better.

How does him running 3rd party help anything? All that does is guarantee Trump gets re-elected. You still have zero proof of any actual conspiracy. You do know voter rolls are purged on a regular basis right? If there was a story about tons of people showing up and being told they're not registered all of a sudden, then okay, now we have a story. Just because the results don't agree with you, doesn't mean you get to throw a fit about things being rigged. Sanders is getting his ass kicked and you sound like Trump all of a sudden. Voter fraud is not a thing. Not in these numbers. Never has been. Quit spreading your conspiracy bullshit and accept that the rest of America isn't all-in. When you have no path you are simply splitting up the votes and making it harder for the Dems to figure out their candidate ASAP which is absolutely critical to beating Trump. Trump has been sitting there amassing this giant war chest and not suffering at all. Getting the nominee picked before the convention would be a huge boost to the Dems chances of winning.

Tulsi needs to drop out. Needed to a long time ago. She has no path and hasn't had any for awhile. When Yang didn't have a path, he left, as he should have. Tulsi is not going to be allowed on the debate stage, nor should she, she's not a serious contender at this point. Just because someone refuses to face reality doesn't really mean they are still a candidate. I like Tulsi, quite a bit, but she has no business to still be running for the nomination. Needs to be just Bernie and Biden and let them go at each other.

The issue is with the infectious rate. There is going to be an outbreak in the US, its inevitable at this point. The question is how bad. The best way we've been told to describe it is : Alert, not anxious. Don't fool around with symptoms if you're in an area that is in the zone. But don't panic, either, anyone who isn't immuno-compromised will almost certainly be fine. You're right, the flu kills more people. At the moment. The MDs are worried about a potential mutation to make it more lethal.

The inability to accept defeat and instead turn to conspiracy theories is everything that is wrong with Bernie's supporters, both in 2016 and in 2020. Not that they don't have some reason to think there are issues, but to claim widespread voter fraud is Trumpian, and has been disproven in so many ways beyond counting. Widespread voter fraud does not exist. Just because the country differs with you- and with me, on this one, I would far rather have Bernie than Biden- does not mean there is some sort of conspiracy going on here. If Biden wins it outright, then I'm okay with that. I was more concerned Bernie would have a plurality and the DNC would steal it from him. Sanders not being in the lead here is shocking and disappointing. Biden vs Trump is just another ho-hum neither one of these people are going to be really any good for this country. Yay.

I really dont think so. If they wanted to keep Bernie from the nod, their best bet would be for everyone to stay in and split the vote hard. If its just Bernie v Biden, I think he has far better odds of getting to a majority. Obama STILL not endorsing Biden at this point- give him a bit after Amy's announcement- is a big issue. I get it when there's 10+ in the field, but now that its down to Biden v Bernie, you'd think he'd endorse someone. Can anyone say what exactly Biden is running on, other than "I'm not Trump?" What's his signature policy proposal? I just hear a lot of "He's a moderate." Okay, what does that mean in practice?
