Chris Evans confirmed in an interview today that he is done with the MCU after Avengers 4.
-
Cutting a younger player to sign an older one? Gruden still being Gruden.
-
This movie is going to be so damn epic...
-
I really hope the Browns don't see Tyrod Taylor as a reason to not draft a QB.
-
Infinity War's release date has been moved up a week to April 27th!

I hate all these stats about these QBs doing this and that before they turn 25 or whatever. It's useless comparisons because QBs starting in the NFL right out of college is a new trend compared to years past and the league is a passing league now where basically any QB could throw for 3,000 yards if they play all 16 games. A feat that would've been epic in years past is expected among any starting QBs. Not trying to trash Bortles, but all these stats don't mean much.

That's not even remotely true. As you said yourself, Evans has developed. Not to mention Cameron Brate went from a no name to one of the better receiving TEs in the league. Jameis hasn't regressed either, he was injured this year and wasn't on the same page with the newer targets. When he got healthy at the end of the season he was playing extremely well. You can't just blame the Bucs for Martin not getting it done, he doesn't have speed and isn't very shifty and he's at his best breaking tackles but his body has taken a pounding and I don't think he can do it anymore. Just can't blame the team for the guy having a 2.9 ypc average over the past 2 seasons with a combined yardage total off under 1,000 yards and just 6 TDs. Other players on the offense were getting it done, no excuse for Doug. Especially when he got outperformed by Peyton Barber.

I don't think guns need to be banned and I don't have an educated enough opinion on gun laws to talk on that. All I know is, giving guns to school teachers is a bad, bad idea. Maybe they should start hiring more officers or start training security for schools, create more jobs and help kids stay safer. But I don't like the idea of a unsupervised teacher who isn't trained to use a weapon having one in a classroom of 30 children.
-
Giving teachers guns is a terrible idea. What if a teacher is mentally ill and decides to mow down an entire classroom of kids? More guns is not the answer, I'm not saying ban guns or even supporting these gun control ideals I just don't think anyone except a trained officer of the law should be allowed to bring a gun into a school...

Why? He was massively outperformed by an UDFA last year so it's not like you can blame everyone else. The dude has been horrible for most of his career except for two seasons. I always liked Doug and appreciate what he did in 2012 and 2015, but after he got paid he straight up was garbage. I'm not sure how much of a future he has in the NFL tbh, I'm sure someone will bring him to camp but it's no guarantee he's good enough to make a 53 man roster imo.

Just saw Black Panther. Movie was awesome, acting was great, action was great, movie looked sutnning. Michael B. Jordan gave one of the best villainous performances in the MCU, loved his portrayal of Killmonger. I also love the movie didn't waste itself with unnecessary MCU references, it stood on it's own and opened up many new chapters to tell. The only thing that bothered me was...

So funny that his assistant just won a Super Bowl with the Eagles after he's failed for soooo many years.
-
I think he'll eventually get offers again as people attempt to give him credit for Brady and Belichick's success. This move was a slimeball move, but that didn't keep the NBA from hiring Billy Donovan after he did the same thing.
-
Still not sure how I feel about the Venom movie. I love the character but think this is a cash grab by Sony.
-
Honestly, this is a win for the Colts. McDaniels is a hack who has just rode Brady and Belichick's coattails.
-
So happy the Magic dumped Elfrid Payton, his terrible shooting and PnR defense was a killer.

My only concern for the Pistons is how do they upgrade the perimeter? Cap space is not in their favor now with Griffin getting paid over 30 million annually. I'm also pretty sure that Drummond has a deal that is pricey. I feel like it is going to reach a point where Detroit will have to consider trading one of their two All Star big men to try and upgrade the perimeter. I don't think Reggie Jackson cuts it.
-
I agree with most of this, but I kind of get the feeling the Giants are going to start Eli again in 2018. They're still going to draft someone early, but I think they just let him learn from Eli unless someone blows their doors off with a trade offer. Which they won't.
-
The best argument would be Jerry West, guy has as great track record everywhere he goes. I know LeBron has a lot of respect for him. Plus, if Clippers clear up enough cap space it could be kind of an open canvas for LeBron to come into and bring other FAs. I legit don't think he's going there at all, but I'm sure Jerry West will be there to pitch something to LeBron though.
-
I'm not a fan of Max Kellerman, but he actually explained this one pretty well. Blake is a 4/4.5 star player getting paid 5 star player money as if he is an MVP caliber player. The Clippers realized paying him 30+ million a year for mediocrity at best is a poor move. The Pistons haven't been relevant since the Billups/Wallace/Hamilton/Prince days, so they're a bit more desperate to pay that money to a star. Especially with a new arena.
-
In my opinion, I think the Redskins are morons for just not paying Cousins. Smith will give them a chance to win too, but letting young QBs with that skill set leave is just bad business if you ask me.
-
He was just traded to the Clippers in a Blake Griffin deal.
-
It's LeBron, if he had better success in the Finals I'd put him over Jordan.

What Game Are You Currently Playing?
Milla4Prez63 replied to Phenomenal TJ's topic in General Entertainment
I got a Switch for Christmas and it's awesome. Beat Super Mario Odyssey and I've been addicted to Breath of the Wild. I also just learned that a Pokémon RPG is coming for the Switch too so I'm beyond hype with this thing. -
It's done, even if Hugh wants to come back Kevin Feige won't bring him in for just one movie. He's going to want a younger actor to play the character for a long time.
