  1. I think they're actually accomplishing exactly what they set out to do. Raise awareness of a racist justice system. What would be the correct perspective to have on this?

Oh and how do we have a travel ban that DOESN'T include Saudi Arabia? It's being widely reported that they're the number 1 financier of terror in the UK and they fucking did 9/11. They're being sued for it right now. They fund Isis...and we give them hundreds of billions of dollars.

I'm not one of those people who thinks there was a bomb in the one tower but I really do believe that 9/11 was an inside job at this point. We know who did it but we invade and level Afghanistan? This lead us into going into multiple countries over a span of 16 years now. It's hard to fathom that our country let this happen but I really do believe that we did.

I think 9/11 was for sure some form of inside job. A lot of things just don't add up and the United States government is already known to have planned fake terrorist attacks in the 1960s to give them a reason to invade Cuba. So this isn't new to the United States at all.

  2. Losing Brent Grimes hurt way more than expected, our corner depth is poor and was exposed without him. Honestly, what has me concerned is not how poorly we played but how many starters/key players on defense got injured. Our defense was completely mauled to injury in just the matter of a week. I'm hoping Lavonte David's injury is not as bad as it seems or else this season may be going up in smoke before it even starts.

  3. I like that the Thunder are trying their best to go for it all, even if the odds are slim. Good on them. I just feel that they deplated a decent amount of depth to add stars and it won't be enough to beat Golden State who has the stars and depth. But again, I like that they are actually trying instead of moping and saying we'll never beat them anyways.

  4. I'll go on about the Bucs' performance, it was an awesome win and it was the first game I've attended live since 2012.

I love that the Bucs defense picked up where they left off last season. I geniunely think we have one of the more underrated defenses in the league, ever since the players settled into Mike Smith's defense in the middle of the year last year we have been forcing turnovers left and right while keeping plays in front of us and not giving up those big explosive plays.

It was truly tough to gauge our offense yesterday because we basically shut everything down somewhat early with the game getting out of hand. Jameis still needs to work on his deep ball accuracy it's his biggest issue at the moment (yes, even over INTs, which he didn't throw one yesterday), he missed D-Jax twice down the field and he also had Sims open for a TD and overthrew him. We also didn't get a chance to really show off most of our weapons. Mike Evans did what he does, but Jackson, Humphries, Godwin, Howard and Brate were all quiet. But just having all these guys is a huge difference, defenses can no longer focus all their attention to keeping Evans under control. Our run game managed 117 yards, but it wasn't super efficient. We ran the ball a lot with a big lead in the 2nd half. Peyton Barber looked like our best back yesterday, but he didn't get any touches until the 4th when the Bears defense was already worn down by the Tampa heat and they were losing by 29 points, so it was unlikely we saw maximum effort (Deadpool would've been disappointed) by that defense.

    Good win, on to Minnesota.

  5. The Saints have seemed to enjoy trading away Brees' favorite targets, I'm surprised he is as loyal as he is. But that defense is just rough, it's been the downfall of the majority of Brees' tenure in New Orleans.

  6. So the NBA is supposedly going to make changes to the lottery that includes the three teams with the worst record will all have the same odds of getting the #1 pick. Am I the only one who thinks this will incentivise teams to tank more? More spots to tank for now...

  7. The Bucs didn't play so it was kind of a boring weekend, even with a hurricane passing over. I don't like to take away too much from Week 1 but holy hell are the Colts a shit show. I know a lot of people like to hate on Andrew Luck, but that man is the only thing going for that team and they should honestly consider not playing him at all this year if he's not healthy, he's just going to get even more beat up and lose a bunch of games. Maybe they can suck bad enough to draft someone decent to pair with Luck in 2018 but probably not. The Colts might low key be the worst drafting team in the league, looking at all their past first round picks they ALL are busts except for Luck. The last player they took in the 1st that isn't a bust was freakin' Dallas Clark in 2003.

  8. I feel like Kathleen Kennedy is just too difficult to work with for certain directors. She wants to hire someone to make HER vision and a lot of directors really don't like having their creativity limited. However, these guys should know what they're getting into when they sign on to direct a Star Wars movie.

  9. I would take Jimmy G, whoever the backup is between Bradford and Bridgewater, Case Keenum, Fitzmagic, and Files. Foles and Keenum cpuld be argued but Foles had a 27 vs 2 season the year before he went to the Rams under Fisher who is god awful. Keenum has put together some good starts as well. At least equal to Kaeps last sample size

As a fan of the team who has Ryan Shitzpatrick as the backup QB, I'd say HELL NO to having him over Kap. Shitzmagic looked like a complete turd in the preseason he was 21/40 for 153 yards with no TDs and 2 INTs. He showed no ability to move the ball whatsoever and clearly looks like an old geezer in a young man's game. Everything I heard indicated that Ryan Griffin was well on his way to beat out the old geezer for the backup job until he got hurt. I would for sure take Kap, but Tampa has a strong military presence and people whined when Mike Evans sat once so it won't happen. My hope is Griffin gets healthy so we can cut Shitzpatrick and let him retire already.

  10. Are you going to tell me Brock Osweiler is better than Kap? Kap had a 16:4 TD:INT ratio in 12 games, where Brock had a 15:16 TD:INT ratio in 15 games with better talent on offense. Nobody is saying Kap is an elite QB, but to say he's unsigned simply because he sucks is ignorant. I'll tell you as a Bucs fan that I'd rather have Kap backing up Jameis than Shitzpatrick. It's totally about his protest, and while teams have the right to avoid him for that you can't seriously try and tell me he's not good enough to be on a roster in the NFL. It's about publicity, not football with this situation.

  11. TJ Ward cut

He's a Buc now. I'm good with it, I was okay with Tandy and Conte to start the season so even if he doesn't win the job at some point he provides experience and depth for a team hoping to compete for the first time in a while.

  12. I don't buy the Lakers BS. The national media would have you believing every star player is dying to play for the Lakers but honestly nobody really does. I don't know why LeBron would want to be the Warriors bitch before they even get to the Finals, especially since the team he'd be joining is a young rebuilding one.

  13. Defenders is basically Daredevil season 3. There's just too much focus on Daredevil.

More like Daredevil and Iron Fist with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones as support. It's kind of natural with the big bad being the Hand and them having a huge role in those series while having no part in the other two.

    My thoughts on Defenders....

-The buildup took a bit long, but I liked the dynamic and chemistry of the team.

-Sigourney Weaver was a really good villain in this, but again we get another surprise early death in a Netflix series. Boo.

-The Japanese guy from the Hand bothered me. I just found it super annoying that every conversation he had in the series was him speaking to someone in Japanese while the other person responded in English. So stupid and unnecessary, they also hyped him up to be some evil and twisted dude but he was just another kung fu ninja for the Defenders to fight. Boo.

-I liked how all the supporting characters from all the shows kind of fit in together without ruining the show.

-Action was good, just nothing we haven't seen before and it just got kind of old.

-I feel like Luke Cage seemed depowered in this series from his own show.

    As for the future...

-I hope they are officially done with this Hand BS. They were never that interesting and when they finally introduce an interesting lead for them they just kill her off early without much payoff. Also tired of all the kung fu ninja BS, please take the Netflix shows in a different direction. I understand we will get more of it to a point with Iron Fist, but please take Daredevil in a different direction at least.

-Speaking of which, the ending to me appears to be setting up the Born Again plot for Season 3. He woke up in some sort of Christian/Catholic church or something and the nun said to inform Maggie that he is awake. Sounds like Margaret Murdock, Matt's mom who is a nun and had a huge role in Born Again. I think it would be a great route to take this series with Kingpin trying to not just crush Daredevil, but Matt Murdock. I just hope they don't do the whole Karen Page being a drug addicted whore who sells out Matt's identity to Kingpin for heroin thing.

  14. 25.2 points / 5.8 assists / 3.2 rebounds / 23.09 PER

    28.9 points / 5.9 assists / 2.7 rebounds / 26.59 PER

One of those is Kyrie, the other is IT... Hmmm. lol

Yeah, but IT did that in a completely different offense while being the go to guy. Tbh I'm not sure how effective he's going to be having to defer to LeBron now. Not to mention, I think it's a huge downgrade in the defensive matchup against Curry. One of the things the Cavs have had going for them in the Finals is that Kyrie has stepped up on both ends of the floor against Steph and I'm not sure tiny Isaiah can put up much of a fight at all defensively, at least having Crowder may give them more options for Durant and Klay. Plus there is questions about IT's hip too. I think it's a short term downgrade but the Cavs are in a better position should LeBron bolt now, they can just let IT walk to clear up cap space and they have the Brooklyn pick to start a rebuild with. But knowing the dumbass Cavs, they will trade the pick for an overrated All Star vet.

  15.

To be fair... maybe that's what it means to you. Is it what it means to them? (Maybe it is, I don't know, lol)

I mean people can take whatever meaning they want out of it I suppose, but the flag was the flag of the rebel states trying to succeed from the union. I just think it's funny because I live in an area with a lot of proud Southerners who fly that flag but they are also the first to demand the head of someone like Colin Kaepernick for disrespecting the American flag. If you ask me waving the flag that represents a group that wanted to separate themselves from America is more disrespectful to America than sitting for a song, but eh that's just me. To each their own.
