  1. She isn't the ONLY one, but facts get you to poll at 1-2% typically ha. People don't like hearing facts (at least, that's what they tell us). I think that's more the media thinking everyone is stupid.

I don't want to hear a senseless idealogue attack someone else based on vague ideologies and identity politics, " You're a socialist ", " You're just listing off GOP talking point", etc etc... What I do want to hear are those facts. Tell me not only what you want to do but how you are going to do it. It's why Bernie fumbles every single time they ask him how he is paying for his programs... It's easy to sit up there and scream " free Healthcare, free college, guaranteed jobs for everyone " etc... That's (mostly) easy stuff to blindly believe in. But you start losing people when you tell them to achieve those your plan calls for the decimation of the middle class.

That's where you pique my interest. I want to hear those facts, facts about your opponents record that are shady. Separate yourself but do it the right way and that's what Tulsi is doing. I like it because on twitter for example... every post Kamala has made since the debate are people questioning her record now -- and they should. She still hasn't been able to defend it. I am sure she will be better prepared next time.

  2. Bernie was center stage last night (because he’s running the highest of the night one candidates) — that’s why they invoke him so much. That’s what happens with top candidates. Do you not think they will do something similar with Biden tonight ?

I also contend that the polling is because Warren is threatening Bernie something fierce. And idk if Bernie and Warren being so friendly to one another last night is going to help him much.

Those two are fighting for the same exact base. They are going to need to attack each other’s policies and give voters a real reason to choose one over the other.

If they don’t their probably both losing out.

  3. I loved the Lion King (just got back from it). Some of the voices did stick out a bit... Donald Glover was awesome though, IMO. John Oliver (Zazu) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar) were the biggest disappointments for me. Billy Eichner at first struck me as bad, but he grew on me as the movie went on.  That Mufasa falling scene was indeed the worst scene, visually speaking in the movie. I don't usually hone in one something like that hardcore during the movie, but that stood out like a sore thumb.

I think Disney has missed on their villains pretty hardcore their last few movies. Scar was kind of a let down for me and Jafar was trash tier.

I think they failed Rafiki too. Voice was meh and seems like they scaled his character back. The scene (in the animated version) where he figures out Simba is still alive is one of my favorites. The slow burn (over a couple of minutes) of Rafiki siting up in his tree and slowly realizing what he has come across, the cracking off the coconut (or whatever thing that is) and using that residue to paint on the mane of the face of simba to symbolize the roots he crushes and puts on Simbas forehead when he's a baby... the crazed laughter as he he's painting that mane. It might be a small scene to a lot of people and I get that, but it was a really significant and vivid memory for me. They jsut rushed it way too much in the live action version with a shittier Rafiki and too much build up with the hair being carried by the birds, shit out by the giraffe, rolled by the dung beetle, carried by ants etc... Even though that was all cool, it felt like they added all that to take away from Rafiki. No thanks.

The realism was almost too real for me when it comes to the characters / animals. but the scenery and atmosphere and everything was also CGI / photo realistic and it was gorgeous. I appreciated and demanded a very close live action carbon copy of the original, and that's what we got.

I liked it much much more than I thought. Not as great as the cartoon, but an overall good effort. Probably like 7/10... 6.5 maybe.

  4. Kenny Clark is an elite interior defender. If you don’t think so, you don’t watch him enough.

With that said, Hicks is also a monster and should be much higher on this list IMO.

Thats the flaws of this list. Players don’t really study or do anything to make it... it just hypes the overhyped. The guys who are on sports center every week, the guys who get the most tweet mentions or whatever. Those are the guys that get higher up on this list.

Disrespect? He went up almost 50 spots and was 1st team all-pro. I don't pay much attention to PFF...especially when it comes to offensive linemen.

    DISRESPECT. lol.

I get not taking PFF at face value. But even assuming their stats are wrong, are they really so wrong that he goes from by far the best pass protector per snap to... whatever you are thinking he is? His skill set is far beyond what you give him credit for. Add to the fact that his QB holds onto the ball for 12 seconds every pass play and its even more impressive.

  6. Just for comparisons sake... Pro Football Focus had a list of its Top 50 players. Bakhtiari was their best offensive lineman and 13th overall. Over the last three years, he has the lowest rate of pressures in his protection of any lineman in the league. Crazy to see the disrespect from other places.

Baker played well last year, but I am really interested to see how he fares this season. The Browns have loaded up, but I wonder if his ego will get in the way.

I'm moving out of Kearney finally. But we're only moving to Lincoln because it happened suddenly (our house and job both flooded, so instead of starting over here we're moving to Lincoln where we have friends to stay with for the time being). Alecia really wants to move out of the country and prior to this we were really getting our savings and money situated. Hopefully we can actually work toward that and kids here in the next few years.

Where does she want to go? Anywhere specific ? You guys could go get a place near Sarge! Lol
