    What is your occupation?

I work at National Pipe & Plastics as a Quality Control expert. Basically, we make pipe. I look at the pipe before it comes off the line for ID Splits, etc. Then I put a sticker on the pipe and give it my ok. Then they take it outside to the yard and put it on trucks. Simple.

    Matt Ryan vs Peyton Manning

Aaron Rodgers is a different type of QB to me. He's not a line surgeon, he's more or so a guy that hikes the ball and picks the defense apart. I have yet to see him run a complete no huddle without the help of the coaches. Same goes for a guy the name of Phillip Rivers. There are gunslinger quarterbacks, and there are line surgeons. Ryan is in the line surgeon department. He won't ever be the best all around quarterback, but he'll see the defense and throw them off with playcalls. As seen so many times in 2010 at the end of games when they went to the no huddle.

    Hurricane Irene

Hitting here now. It was really windy this morning. Now it's just rain. Nothing too serious. Just a lot of flash flooding. Evacuations are taking place down near the edge of town where the water is rising. It won't crest until tomorrow, hopefully no one's houses go under water!

Top 10 WRs in the league?

I don't think fitz needs a good qb. But I do think his stats are slightly elevated because of the fact that they practically spoon feed him the ball in Arizona.

Panthers GM wants Cam to be tattoo free.

I don't mind this. But if some day Newton does have children, or someone passes away or something like that and he wants to commemorate them, I think it would be pathetic NOT to let him have tattoos.

    Matt Ryan vs Peyton Manning

I was posting a good article that a Colts fan wrote, it had to do with the NFC south and it was a good read. . . Sorry, Won't post anymore. . Case in point, Matt Ryan has all the potential in the world, he could very well be the guy that Peyton passes the torch to. Then again, Matt Stafford is probably better than him if the guy can stay healthy.

So You're Starting Your Own NFL Franchise

Is Matt Ryan considered "3 Years or Less"? If So I'm taking him. But in case, I'll just exclude Matt Ryan lol 3 Years or Less: Sam Bradford - Guy has great accuracy, and he looks like he's going to be a leader. Just adding him to the Rams team gave them a shot at winning the division. (However poor the division is.) He can make all the throws an NFL quarterback needs to make, and he has pretty decent arm strength. He can only get better. Because I want a guy that will LEAD my team for years to come. 30 and over: Ed Reed - Could I have chosen anybody else? Ed Reed has been the defensive example of clutch for years now. Sure, I could have taken Troy Pol, but I have always liked Reed over Troy any day. He's a leader on defense, and he will come up in big situations. He's a natural ball hawk, and when he gets the ball he doesn't just lay down, he scores touchdowns. Health concerns? Sure they are there, but it's a gamble I would be willing to take! If I was building a football team, I know that Ed Reed would take the rest of the defense under his wing, and make them absolutely nasty. Oh, and honorable mention to Ndamukong Suh. I almost took him

Sparano: Bush is Fins 'starting running back'

I don't feel like Bush is durable enough to be a #1 back.

Top 10 WRs in the league?

9 games played. No offense, but I don't know why you guys start these threads. You all should just post one list, and let people look at it. Someone posts their opinionated list as the thread asks, and they get heckled off the forums nearly because it's different. Don't ask peoples opinion then complain it's not the exact same as yours and call them an idiots. I understand the whole respect thing on a forum, but seriously, I would think someone being willing to share their opinion should allow them to get more respect than someone just calling them an idiot. .

Sucks, but I guess it doesn't really matter for the Packers when they have 7 wide receivers trying to make 5 spots. lol

This makes me seriously want to beat the sh-t out of somebody

Being a resident in New York, I can honestly say, not only does New York once again FAIL to impress me. . I also can not say that I'm surprised by this. New York is so ass-backwards in thinking, that this almost comes as expected. It's almost like they are spitting in the face of heroes. Pathetic. I guess that's one way to lose votes!

    The Tim Tebow Problem

This will be a good one. A young, inexperienced head coach drafted a guy who he thought he could make a star out of. A guy that probably would have drifted to the 3rd or 4th round, and he wasted our 1st round pick on him!? So now the Broncos are stuck in a sticky situation, we've got two quarterbacks going into contract years, Kyle Orton, and Brady Quinn. So right there we have a quarterback that we know can throw the football, and will do well at it. And a serviceable backup quarterback who we can continue to work on. And then, we have Tim Tebow. A quarterback that hasn't got a natural release. It's long, it's unorthodox. It just won't work in the NFL! They swore before he was drafted that he fixed it, and it looked to be so in practices, but come game time, he reverts back to his old motion. Accuracy? He hasn't got too much in that department. But he can run with the football! And he's got a lot of heart. If that counts for anything. So now that's all out of the way, here's what I do: I try to trade Tebow. If I can get anything, be it a 5th or 6th round pick, I take it. Get any sort of value I can out of him, knowing there's nothing I can really do with him on my team. If I can't trade him, then I suggest a possible position change. Tell him he's going to have to play either tight end, or full back, otherwise, he's probably going to be sitting the pine for the duration of his contract. It's a shame really! We could have had Colt McCoy!

Top 10 WRs in the league?

I understand what you're saying. Like I said, I guess I just look at it differently from everyone else. When I see someone say to post my opinion on who are the top 10 receivers in the league, I do that. Knowing that I base about 60% of the list on raw skills they've shown in games be it running routes, awesome catches, breaking loose from defenders. Then the rest all on stats. And if the one season is the thing, then like I said, tell people to take Nicks and Wallace off their lists as well. Seeing how they both had sub-par seasons in 2009. But no-one is getting on them about those. I think it's more about the two receivers that I named, as opposed to them only each having one solid season under their belts. I guess we can just agree to disagree? I can't see arguing over something stupid like this lol

Top 10 WRs in the league?

And im sure you can blame a young Josh Freeman and a horrible Fitzpatrick for a lot of those drops by both of them. Ill fold my cards knowing that everyone is just compiling stats and not looking at both stats and skills. I also wonder why people agree with Hakeem Nicks on the list too. Kind of contradictive isnt it?

Who's the best RB on the Saints?

I've never really been high on Pierre Thomas, so I have to go with Ingram. Loved this kid out of college, it's too bad he's a Saint and I have to hope he does horrible!

    Darkhorses for your team?

Offense: Harry Douglas WR Douglas had an outstanding rookie season in 2008. Training camp 09 he got injured and missed the entire season. Last season he played bad, but was recovering. He looks great this season. Look for him to be a huge receiving leader for the Falcons. Defense: William Moore SS The coaches are really high on this kid. They think he could nab 5 or 6 picks a year. Maybe more once he reaches full potential. And he's not just a coverage guy, he can play the run, and when he hits, he hits HARD!

Top 10 WRs in the league?

Based on what you are saying, Ochocinco would still be top 5 then. So would a guy the name of Brandon Marshall. . . But they don't even break the top 10. So, my thing is, how can you say not to base it off 1 season, then cut guys off the list because they had 1 off season to their name? See where I'm getting at. I'm getting crap for putting Stevie Johnson and Mike Williams on my list when guys have equal break-out receivers Brandon Lloyd and Mike Wallace on their list. I don't get it.
