Vin+ 3,121 Posted July 30, 2011 Vikings signed WR Michael Jenkins to a three-year contract. The Vikings were searching high and low for someone to line up across the field from Percy Harvin, but appear to have set their sights on the "low" end of things. A blocking wideout who has seen his receptions decrease each of the past two seasons, Jenkins isn't likely to be in for any sort of a revival season in Minnesota. He could end up third on the depth chart behind Bernard Berrian. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Titans re-signed LG Leroy Harris to a two-year contract. Harris is a favorite of coach Mike Munchak, but he was a bust as the team's starting left guard last season. Munchak will continue to focus on coaching up a player he believes has potential, but clearly hasn't fulfilled it. If Munchak can get better play from Harris and C Eugene Amano, Chris Johnson's life would be much easier. The tackles are good to go, at least. Source: Jim Wyatt on Twitter Raiders signed QB Trent Edwards to a one-year contract. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports he'll be Jason Campbell's backup, meaning Kyle Boller is either ticketed for the third string or free agency. With Jason Campbell hardly having a vice-grip on the starting job, there's a real possibility Edwards could see playing time this season. The Raiders will hope not, of course, because his check-down mentality rarely threatens defenses. Edwards has been injured every season of his football career dating back to high school and often looks afraid in the pocket.
