O-Town 3 Posted July 29, 2011 (edited) I looked around and couldn't find this topic anywhere... So my buddies keep saying Brown is an idiot for burying Palmer into retirement. I think it's admirable. I think if Palmer would have kept quiet and spoke with brown on the side he would have been on the trading block. I mean Boomer stayed loyal to Cincy until the end of his career and was released to sign with teh JETS because of the professionalism he showed the organization. If he had let Palmer leave it would have set a dangerous precedent of their top players demanding trades when things aren't going well just because the players want to play for a better team. What would be the point of trading him when in a years time that player does the same thing "trade me or a retire".
