Update: Cardinals SS Wilson has tear in bicep muscle

Recommended Posts

Per Rotoworld.com:

Cardinals SS Adrian Wilson will undergo an MRI after injuring his elbow/bicep on Saturday.

According to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers, the "fear" is that Wilson has a torn muscle. A torn biceps would likely put his season in danger. Wilson's effectiveness was severely limited in 2010 as he played through a torn abductor muscle. Aug 6, 5:14 PM

Per Rotoworld.com:

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed on SportsCenter Monday that Cardinals SS Adrian Wilson's bicep muscle is at least partially torn.

The Cards are hopeful that Wilson will return at some point this year, but Schefter reports that he's already been ruled out for the preseason. Matt Ware figures to open the season as Arizona's starting strong safety, and is obviously a huge downgrade. Target

Arizona's back end for fantasy matchup purposes. Aug 8, 2:54 PM

injuries are puling up everywhere...

Players doing workouts on their own don't quite compare to the intensity of the team workouts. That said, you can thank the lockout for an increase in injuries this season. Basically reiterating John Clayton's take on it.
