AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted September 5, 2011 Appearing on SportsCenter Monday morning, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter said that the "feeling" is Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel (rib) will be able to play Sunday. Schefter has no official word from the team, but has spoken to a source close to Cassel. He says that the reported cracked rib won't necessarily keep Cassel sidelined as it's more of a pain management issue than aggravation risk. Cassel may be able to play with some kind of flak jacket protecting his abdomen. Source: RotoTimes
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 5, 2011 Playing with broken ribs means he's less likely to throw the football, which means this works in favor of the Chiefs.
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted September 5, 2011 Just wanted to throw out again, XDToddHaleyfail. This injury happened in the last preseason game just like Moeaki's.
KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted September 5, 2011 Chiefs are lucky Haley didn't get Charles injured. What a fool.
Krawnka 282 Posted September 6, 2011 Hopefully someone will wake up and realize neither Haley, nor Cassel, are the answer.
