Well since this thread is so active I just wanna see which matchups I got right.

Rangers-Sens. Picked Rangers.

Bruins-Caps. Picked Boston. LOL BRUINS FANS

Panthers-Devils. Picked Devils.

Pens-Flyers. Picked Pens.

Canucks-Kings. Picked the Kings

Blues-Sharks. Picked the Sharks. :nonono:

Coyotes-Blackhawks. Picked the Yotes.

Nashville- Detroit. Picked the Preds :yay:

So Overall I suck especially if Ottawa and Florida win. :coffee:

You're 3-3 with the potential to go 5-3. That's not sucking.

one thing I really like about the NHL is they make their rulebook very accessible, it's on their website and I've found that Googling "NHL [rule you're wondering about]" the NHL rulebook is one of the first results, so I Googled NHL penalty on goalie and got this page:

http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26314

and SteVo is exactly right, for minor, major, or misconduct penalties the team selects another player who was on the ice at the time of the penalty to serve, but if a goalie gets three major penalties in one game he's ejected and the team has to go to their backup goalie (same as any other player) a game misconduct or match penalty will also get a goalie ejected (again, same as everyone else)

Lol this reads almost like a religious document.

"The goalie shall not be sent to the bench for an offense which incurs a minor penalty..." lol.

Thanks for the link, that is a lot better than the NFL rulebook. It's nearly impossible to find out a rule in there, because you have to word it the right way in order to get a result to pop up.

From Ted Leonsis' (Capitals' owner) blog

To be fair:

Statement from the Boston Bruins:

"The Bruins are very disappointed by the racist comments that were made following the game last night. These classless, ignorant views are in no way a reflection of anyone associated with the Bruins organization."
