BLUE 1,026 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Per Rotoworld.com: Free agent Plaxico Burress has reportedly lowered his contractual demands and is now willing to play for the league minimum. He's willing to sign a one-year deal for under $1 million. Interest in Plax might pick up after this news leaks, but he'll still be viewed as a fallback, last-resort options for teams looking at younger, more explosive in-house options. Smell My Face 13 Posted August 9, 2012 With Greg Childs out for the season I think the Vikings need to take a look at Plax.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted August 9, 2012 The problem with aging WR's is that they don't play special teams. On 95% of teams in the NFL your 4th and 5th string WR's play special teams in some way whether it's coverage or returning. Plax likely won't see many snaps outside of the redzone. I can understand why teams aren't going crazy over him but I honestly thought he'd be on a team before now. Especially before Braylon Edwards.
