AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted November 5, 2012 http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3183/player?r=1 Chiefs waive CB Stanford Routt. Wouldn't mind seeing the Bucs take a look at him. He can't be any worse than Myron Lewis.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted November 5, 2012 Wow. Kinda surprised by this, honestly.
Franchise 5 1 Posted November 5, 2012 He was decent with the Raiders, but has sucked for the Chiefs this year. I would not like to see him on the Bucs, remember when we played the Chiefs, Mike Williams exploded against Routt.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted November 5, 2012 Do the Chiefs really have anyone better, though? Romeo also stepped down as the teams DCoordinator. And while the D has been disappointing, it's hard to keep leads and limit opponents offensive prowess when your own offense has the worst TO differential to start a season in almost 70 years. No defense should be expected to overcome those kinds of numbers.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted November 5, 2012 Never pick up a QB from New England, and never pick up a CB from Oakland (unless it's 2006 and Charles Woodson is available )
Vin+ 3,121 Posted November 21, 2012 According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, free agent CB Stanford Routt clashed with coaches and missed curfew before being cut by the Chiefs. Routt was getting torched on the field and not acting professionally off it. He reportedly wanted to use the technique he learned in Oakland instead of adapting to the Chiefs' scheme and Schefter says the coaches there "did not like him." It helps explain why they paid him $6 million to go away two weeks ago. Source: ESPN.com
