Gronk'd 15 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) Johnny Manziel deserves this. Dunno how you can stay otherwise, he was 1 rushing TD within scoring 20+ Tds through the air and on the ground. He plays in the tough SEC, O and he is a freshman which makes his season that much more remarkable. I'm not sure why guys like Case Keenum even come up in this conversation, you may as well just include Timmy Chang then. ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted December 8, 2012 First of all, the Heisman is for the best player. Whether offense or defense. Secondly, the Heisman is generally for playmakers. Johnny Football has made NUMEROUS clutch plays and crucial conversions for his team all year long. The Manatee is a good LB, but a ILB with no FF's and 7 INT's? That's not enough of playmaker to me to overtake a QB who wills his team down the field with both hands and feet in a blink of an eye.
