KempBolt 498 Posted July 3, 2013 So I was thinking about making this thread before that Dutch go-getter decided to create an AFCW All-Star starting lineup topic. So I realize that this is similar, but I think it's different enough that I'll go for it. Just like the NFL top 100 except that it's just our division and hopefully it will be a lot less stupid than the NFL's "official" top 100. 1. Von Miller, OLB Best outside pass rusher in the league and getting better. 2. Peyton Manning, QB Top 2 QB last year and he should be more effective now. 3. Eric Weddle, FS Best all around safety in the game. 4. Derrick Johnson, ILB Underrated stud LB who is great in all facets. 5. Demariyus Thomas, WR Dangerous at all levels of the field and after the catch. 6. Brandon Flowers, CB One of the league's best year after year, and still young. 7. Corey Liuget, DE Top 5 34DE in 2012 and he'll only be 23 this season. 8. Justin Houston, OLB Great pass rusher, criminally underused in 2012. 9. Champ Bailey, CB Enigmatic considering age and PO performance, but had a great 2012. 10. Ryan Clady, OT One dimensional, but still sterling in pass protection. 11. Jamaal Charles, RB Electric speed and good in passing game. 12. Wes Welker, WR Still the NFL's pre-eminant slot receiver. 13. Donald Butler, ILB Young LB who excels in both facets- still improving. 14. Tamba Hali, OLB Coming off down year (for him), still a reliable pass rusher. 15. Branden Albert, OT One dimensional and unorthodox, but he gets the job done. 16. Philip Rivers, QB Needs more help, but could be higher on this list if he gets it. 17. Dwayne Bowe, WR Reliable #1 WR who has a chance to show more in 2013. 18. Orlando Franklin, OT Well-rounded tackle who gets it done in both phases. 19. Antonio Gates, TE Down year, but still drew double teams. 20. Lamarr Houston, DE/DT Underrated and out of position- fearsome run defender. Just Missed: -Jonathan Asamoah, G, Chiefs: One year of great protection, one year of great run blocking. Time to put it all together. -Jared Veldheer, OT, Raiders: If his pass pro takes another step, could turn into one of the better LT's around because he can actually run block. -Derek Cox, CB, Chargers: Needs to stay healthy, but talent should be put to good use behind a better front 7 than he had in Jacksonville. -Wesley Woodyard, OLB, Broncos: Very good 2012 season- just likes my selections slightly more. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted July 3, 2013 Albert was kinda really bad against the run. Only seen a couple games from the Chiefs, but it was pretty clear they were more successful running right then they were left. And the numbers when running to his side on FO are kinda bad. Run blocking is more of an entire group thing, but still. Not totally impressed.

Hey, to each their own, but I can tell you I'd trade Mathews for Albert and I woulnd't even have to think twice. Edited July 3, 2013 by KempBolt
