GA_Eagle 595 Posted July 23, 2013 It's not just Hip hop. Its the entire music industry. Its not a giant conspiracy to make black people look dumber based on what music they listen to, its an attempt to sell the most possible records. It has very little to do with quality of music for the guys at the top of the music industry, but instead about selling the music. If crappy music is what people will buy, or is the most palatable for the largest large amount of people then that's what they will push the hardest to get through. It sucks because it does seem as if crappy music is being pushed more than anything else in the past several years but it has always kind of been that way, its just that our nostalgia and hindsight leads us to believe that the great music we remember from a particular era was most likely the most popular and that is just not the case most of the time. It's a fairly rare phenomenon that the most popular artists are also among the best or most revolutionary artists... But hey, he does a nice job making it about race.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted July 24, 2013 While I disagree with turning this into a race thing, I completely agree with what his message is. He said he wanted to make it sound as controversial as he could make it(granted its not that big of a story), and he did just that. Also I love the shoutout to K.Dot as the beginning. You know you're on your way to be a legend when a legend who's not even from your coast singles you out
