Vin+ 3,121 Posted October 19, 2015 Another one bites the dust. Saints waived K Zach Hocker. Hocker converted just 9-of-13 field goals and missed an extra point in six games as the Saints' kicker. His fate was likely sealed with a 1-for-3 performance against the Falcons on Thursday night. New Orleans is once again in the market for a kicker. Source: Jason La Canfora on Twitter Saints signed K Kai Forbath. Forbath will replace Zach Hocker, who was waived on Monday. Forbath opened the season as the Redskins' kicker, but he was released partly because of his inability to force touchbacks on kickoffs. Washington faced a return on 62.5 percent of Forbath's kickoffs last season. Forbath is an accurate kicker, however, and has converted 87 percent of his kicks over 41 career appearances.
