"I'm hopeful that he's not," said Lynn. "But who knows? I don't know." The Chargers have already ruled Williams out for the entirety of training camp, putting them on track to place Williams on the reserve/PUP list. They could then reevaluate Williams' health after he misses the first six games. I'd like to see the stat on how many starters the Chargers have lost the past 3 seasons due to injuries in TC, Pre-season or in the first 4 weeks of the reg season... ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted August 15, 2017 NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chargers MLB Denzel Perryman (ankle) will miss the first four games of the season and may require surgery. A strong run defender, Perryman will miss games against the Broncos, Dolphins, Chiefs, and Eagles, if this report proves true. And it sounds like Perryman could be sidelined even longer.
