BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 15, 2018 The GSW/SAS series ain't even worth watching. Loved what I saw out of Toronto yesterday. That bench really is something. Though a lot of folks were picking the Heat to beat the Sixers, I think Philadelphia showed yesterday that they really should have no trouble with Miami, and I'm not convinced Boston can play with them either. If the Sixers play like yesterday moving forward, just punch their ticket to the ECF already because their first 2 rounds are arbitrary. Also, Portland might be the flukiest 3 seed we've ever seen in the Western Conference, because seeds 4-6 are all better than they are, in my opinion. Trading for Mirotic was brilliant on the Pelicans' part. Excited to see how today's games pan out.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 15, 2018 Sixers played great ball last night and completely took over the second half. And this was with A) no Embiid and B) Simmons in foul trouble. A promising start.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted April 15, 2018 If Fultz's jumper starts falling, the Sixers have offense comparable to the likes of Houston and Golden State. He's only been back a few weeks so I think that's very possible at some point in the playoffs.
BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 16, 2018 I think they should keep resting Embiid if they go up 2-0.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 16, 2018 I think they should keep resting Embiid if they go up 2-0. I'm compelled to agree but I also don't want him rusty for what would be a tough second-round series.
