What the fck did the idiots expect?
blotsfan replied to Duck Fallas's topic in Politics, Religion & Science
No it wouldn't. People would be pissed, but it wouldn't devolve into riots and killings. Klan rallies don't turn into black people rioting and killing. Neo-nazi rallies don't turn into rioting and killing. I know you wanna make christians sound evil, but they generally aren't -
Yes, but I think he'll be hard to get. He's young and will hold out for the perfect big school.

Which team sport relies the most on individual talent?
blotsfan replied to Maverick's topic in The Sideline
How often does the basketball team with the best player miss the playoffs 3 out of 4 years.? Because last I checked the Cardinals have Albert Pujols and did just that. -
Thats the Monte Carlo fallacy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monte_carlo_fallacy Lakers the easy pick among those choices. Baseball is the hardest sport to make it to the playoffs, and the Giants were one game away from not even making the playoffs last year. Forgetting the lockout, with the single-elimination format the NFL playoffs are a lot more random than other sports. Auburn has to replace a lot of players, including the heisman winning qb. UConn is a team that overachieved, not to mention their star is probably going pro. The Blackhawks, the team I'd say has the second best chance of these, is a much weaker team this year than last year. They're hot lately, but they'd most likely face the juggernaut in Vancouver the first round. The Lakers on the other hand, have been hot lately, and while weaker in the regular season, they're still a top team. They didn't lose any major players, and for now have been decent with injuries. Not a slam dunk to repeat, but more likely than any other team here.

Its not their fault, but it doesn't give them the right to riot and kill people. -
Ricky Stanzi was short for wideouts and halfbacks at his pro day.

Thats weird that they couldn't find anyone. I know here at Mizzou we don't have any wrs coming out so Gabbert threw to wrs from small schools in the area. Kinda surprised they couldn't find anyone like that. -

These Christians voiced their opinion in a legal way, assuming they didn't endanger anyone with the fires etc. They're assholes, but part of what makes america great is that even assholes can voice their opinions and not have to worry as much that they're going to die for it. If these protesters don't like it, they should stop giving him reasons to stick with his belief. -

Easily basketball for the reasons everyone has said. Goalies can make a big impact in hockey, but history shows that a team is more likely to win with top skaters than a top goalie. -
Yeah what kind of parents let their kid do this?

Women reporters on the sidelines and in locker rooms. Who else feels they shouldnt be there.
blotsfan replied to Wacko4Flacco61's topic in General NFL Talk
Except the NFL made a rule specifically saying female reporters are allowed to enter. -
Montana. Brady and Manning had shots to surpass him (in my mind at least) but blew it.
-
Well you have to take into account that the devils don't really have fans.

I actually totally agree that its unfair that men can't interview women in their locker rooms but women can interview men in theirs. Personally, I think the best solution is to make it so no one interviews in the locker room. Players can get dressed and go out to the press conference area. -
Actually she's being really nice about it. Can't fault her for this. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/entertainment/post/2011/03/rebecca-black-donates-friday-video-proceeds-to-charity/1

Easy. They own the teams, they pay the players salaries. Thats why I relatively side with the owners.

If Stevo is helping people out when he has the full list of everyone, then fuck this.
-
Stevo, I don't think you should say anything like that again. Let people believe what they want, and if someone wants, he can argue, but there shouldn't be definitive proof.

Bettman isn't in charge of this. Its Colin Campbell, who actually had a big scandal about how he basically told people to give his son favorable treatment (who coincidentally, or maybe not, plays for the bruins).

Japan nuclear plant disaster: warning of an 'apocalypse’ as fallout hits danger levels
blotsfan replied to BLUE's topic in The Sideline
Nuclear power is a great idea in America. Its cheap and clean and safer than you'd think. The Japanese plant was made almost 40 years ago. The technology has moved along so much since then. -
While steroids were used before selig, I don't think anyone can doubt that they truly became a huge part of the game until Selig's reign.
