I went ahead and created a league on ESPN. It's a H2H points system, which is by far the best system IMO, much better than the categories or rotisserie. H2H Points is very similar to how Fantasy Football is played. It allows you to assign a given point value to individual stat categories (ie. HR=5 points, RBI=1, etc.) and the winner for the week is determined solely by which team accumulates the most fantasy points. So basically the better your players perform, the more points you'll get. I'd really like it if you guys joined. I mean it's tough to say. Vick played the prime of his career back when defense was still allowed and scrambling QBs like him could get really fucked up if they weren't smart about protecting themselves. If Vick was playing now where you can't touch receivers without getting illegal contact or PI then he'd probably wreck teams. It's basically a completely different sport from what it was 10 years ago. It's so easy to play QB now. I don't know, I guess casuals like it but it's turned me off big time to the sport. I'd go Cam tho. Vick got overrated by a lot of people in real life because he was fun to play with in Madden.

1st day of school for me today at college that I transferred to. I commute, it's about a 30 minute ride which is pretty good. Parking situation isn't bad at all, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm taking 4 classes, accounting major. I really like my teachers, feel really good about my classes and know that I'm in the right major that I could see myself having a career in. I want to be a CPA. It was nice to be around people my own age and socializing. This was a really lonely summer for me and I got a bit depressed over the past few years, mostly due to myself being too shy and not opening up to other people at my last school. I plan on being more outgoing and making friends this time, cause I really need them. That's really gonna be something I have to push myself to do cause I'm pretty introverted, I need to get out of my shell though and connect with people. I used to have crippling shyness, where I'd be afraid to talk to new people or in group assignments in school, but the good news is my job that I got a few months ago at Wendys has really helped me just get better at talking. I take orders in the front and I'm talking and interacting with people for 40 hours a week, granted it's just very scripted order taking and occasional small talk, but it's helped my confidence a ton and made me feel much more comfortable in my own skin

Wow yeah that is bad. It's pretty good as is but if I had to pick more playoff teams or fewer playoff teams id without a doubt rather get rid of a few spots. Seems like he's using 'prevent tanking' to hide his ulterior motive of wanting the extra revenue that comes from playoff games. If u want to eliminate tanking then tinker with the lottery percentages.

I'd LOVE to make a run at RFA Brandon Saad. Would probably have to give up a 1st rounder + more as compensation but at 22 years old he's worth it. No way would Chicago would match a 6M+ per year contract. We also desperately need another quality defenseman. Francois Beauchemin, Christian Ehrhoff, or Paul Martin would be ideal but I doubt we get someone that good. Right now our D corps is 1st pair: Chara - Seidenberg (both players shells of themselves) 2nd pair: Krug - McQuaid (Krug is a great puck mover offensively. McQuaid is ok, gets injured all the time tho) 3rd pair: Millar - ummmmmm Trotman/Morrow/Warsofsky? All terrible options IDK every team's defenseman group in the NHL but it's safe to say this is one of the 5 worst. Not to mention our dipshit of a GM is trading away 3rd rounders for goons like Zac Rinaldo. A 3rd rounder for a player that had 1 goal last season in 58 games (TOI/G was 9). What a joke.
