Either Thursday/Friday/Saturday, and sometime in between 9 PM and midnight (earlier than midnight on Thursday). School somewhat prevents me from doing a show earlier in the week.
If you're interested in doing it as a co-hosted show, shoot me a PM and we'll coordinate something.
-
Wait, who the hell voted for Mike Jenkins?!
EDIT: lolBay. C'MON MAN.
-
VIN IS THE BOMB.
Do I smell a Vin / Stevo co hosted TGP show!?!
Not sure I'll have to availability to contribute regularly, but I'm down for co-hosting when I'm able.
What date/time range were you thinking for the SB preview show, Vin?
-
You're a blurry motherfucker.
-
Aw snap I just might be here for this one, Vin. If so I'm callin'.
-
Finally got around to seeing Apocalypse Now.
Needed more Robert Duvall.

Holy hell, what a football game. Good to know that when we're not annihilating our opponents, we have what it takes to win a close one in the 4th quarter. Like last year, there's a good chance we see these guys again in the ACC Championship Game. In the meantime, we have a tough test against Virginia Tech next week, then two very winnable games against UNC and Boise State.

Folks, say hello to college football's best offense.
POLL NOTE: Thanks to a boost from the trusty computer rankings, we have now leap-frogged USC, and are ranked 2nd in the BCS standings.

It's not the problem but they could also build an elite defense with extra picks and of course ANYONE could use a guy as talented as Blackmon but WR just isn't all that important of a position tbh.
It is when you have an elite player at that position. Just look at what Calvin Johnson did this year; defenses literally could not stop him. I realize putting Justin Blackmon in the conversation with Johnson is premature, but he certainly has that level of potential, so I don't think it would be a horrible pick for Cleveland, and if I'm Mike Holmgren, I'm drafting Blackmon before Trent Richardson.

Romney may be a sleezy politician like the rest of 'em but his economic expertise is undeniable. I would be fine with him getting the nomination.

Any more takers?

North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins insists he has stopped smoking marijuana.Jenkins was booted from the University of Florida last spring following his third marijuana-related arrest. "I tell everybody now if you’re going to come around me and smoke weed, I can’t hang around you," Jenkins said. "We’re friends, but while you’re smoking marijuana, I can’t hang around you." Jenkins stayed out of trouble during his one season at North Alabama, and has drawn raves at the Senior Bowl. Unless teams aren't convinced he's changed, Jenkins should be a first-round pick.
Source: Florida Times Union
Good for you, Janoris. You're a better man than I am.
In all seriousness though, I think any "character issues" about Jenkins are a little overblown. If he ends up slipping into the end of round one, a playoff team is gonna get a steal.

League sources tell the Philadelphia Daily News impending free agent DeSean Jackson's "opinion of his worth" is "night-and-day different" from the Eagles'.The two sides have apparently made little headway since the end of the regular season. Jackson has said he'd be open to playing under the franchise tag in 2012, but Daily News columnist Paul Domowitch doesn't believe the Eagles would be willing to pay the roughly $9.5 million D-Jax would make under the tag. Jackson remains most likely to remain in Philadelphia, but it's far from a slam dunk.
Not surprising. DeSean is definitely going to hit the free agent market, in my opinion; it's just a question of how humbling an experience he gets when he receives no top dollar offers.

Notes
Well damn, gotta catch my breath after that beatdown. What a game. Yeah, this was partially a bad performance by FSU, but hand it to our guys for making them pay for it.
The defense was absolutely lights out; FSU ran the ball 15 times for a total of six fucking yards, and turned the ball over a whopping seven times (four fumbles, three interceptions). The first TD they scored was off a turnover in great field position and the other (the 99-yard reception) was simply the product of 1) our blitz getting picked up and 2) Mav getting burned in man coverage. The Seminole offense could sustain nothing against our D.
Offensively, the run game wasn't working at all in the first half, and it didn't help that Stark fumbled twice, including once on the goalline (just before the 99 yard TD mentioned above). The second half, however, was a different story. Stark averaged 5.3 yards per carry on second-half carries, suggesting that the "closer" role might be ideal for him. Oh yeah, and Majin Matthews is a fucking animal. There's no stopping him in the red zone. Whatever the NCAA record is for receiving touchdowns in a season, he's going to break it.
AWARD NOTE: QB Jay Cuda has won ACC Offensive Player of the Week and CB Devin Miles has won ACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Pretty fucking impressive. Starting to think this offense cannot be contained...and we're only sophomores. Prepare your anus, college football.
Next week's game is a big one: primetime Thursday night matchup against Florida State, an ACC opponent ranked 8th in the country with a 6-0 record--at Doak Campbell. Their defense, on paper, might be the best in college football. So yeah, I'll be playing that one manually. Get ready for a big game.
POLL NOTE: Previously 2nd-ranked Oklahoma lost to Missouri. Consequently, TGP is now ranked 3rd in the country in both polls!

Pretty nice win on the road against a ranked conference opponent. I'd rather our defense not give up 31 points but considering 14 came in the 4th quarter (all but 7 in the 2nd half), it's impressive to see us jump out to an early lead on the road like that.
POLL NOTE: Previously 3rd-ranked Ohio State lost to Wisconsin this week; consequently, TGP is now ranked 4th in both the coaches and media poll, receiving three 1st place votes from the coaches and one from the media.
AWARD NOTE: QB Jay Cuda has won ACC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Miami.

No stats?!
F UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
No stats means no tackles or anything. Simulating these games can sometimes do weird things like that for defensive players; it has a tendency to be inconsistent.
Are those asshole backs behind me stealing carries? Man I can't wait to actually be an impact player.
Indeed they are, and there's nothing I can do about it for simulations, unfortunately. Know that you are on top of the depth chart, and when it comes to the games I actually play, you'll get 20 carries.
