This actually feels like a movie... I dunno if I like that.

I think it's Mahomie and JuJu. Mahomes was the highest scoring player in the league last season. Probably not gonna have the same MVP season next year, but the numbers will still probably be good. Tyreek would be a risk for me, he's either gonna do something to get pwnt from league for a bit or get hurt. The top six highest scoring backs were kept. There's still plenty of talent out there.

Sorta feels like the narrative surrounding Matrix movies have shifted since their release. Curious to see what direction this one is gonna take.

Yeah, I'm back in.

More games, less preseason. Win-win for everyone.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. He's good. It's just that he reminds me of Jason Bateman and it bothers me.

I was really expecting that we were gonna get dolphin relations. Somehow what we got was more tame.

I was watching episode six, then the show ended and I tried to watch the next one. Turns out it was actually episode eight. I don't know what it means, but it means something. I really don't like that Homelander looks like a budget Jason Bateman.

I'll run it. I'll throw up a thread tomorrow and we can figure out that details.

It's time. Also, why do I remember nothing about this league from last year? Did we just do a standard draft or was it an auction? I'm getting old and forgetful.

Your team's top candidate for end of season awards

MVP: Nick Foles. Aw yeah. Bring on the 20+ INT season now. OPOTY: Leonard Fournette (I don't actually believe this, but I suppose it's possible) DPOTY: Calais Campbell. Getting older. It's probably either him or Yannick, but I don't think Yannick has it in him. Ramsey doesn't get enough INTs to be considered. CBPOTY: Marqise Lee OROTY: Josh Oliver. TEs never win, but I gotta good feeling. DROTY: Josh Allen -
Only $385 mil WW for Godzilla. Saw The Lion King today. It's just kinda, eh. The realism angle with talking and, unfortunately, singing animals feels weird and goofy in places (Mufasa yelling while falling to his death is one example). There's also part of me that sides with the "Hire actual voices actors to do animated movies instead of names" crowd after this. Beyonce is sorta bad in this, and Billy Eichner has been annoying in pretty much everything I've seen (or heard, in this case) him in. Maybe I'm just old now.

I think the only two options are to either re-sign him for cheap, which probably isn't viable since a 2x SB champ isn't going to re-sign for cheap, or you franchise him at the end of season and try to trade him. Those are some fairly meh numbers, and if he's able to put up those numbers and still win in the postseason then the team obviously has good pieces around him, whether it be a good defense, good run game, or both. Can't just let him walk because the return would be minimal, and if you don't have a viable back-up behind him you're more than likely gonna need some ammo for the draft. The pass rusher should probably get paid. Early holdouts shouldn't be rewarded, and two Pro Bowl noms is sorta vague, but even with that said, you should probably pay him.
