It annoys me that you didn't include me without asking.

Bangy is acting like the typical mafia member who is pretending to be innocent. He is parroting what other people say and trying to implicate people. After hearing all the concerns of those posted, I feel like lynching Bangy is our best bet. I hate to split the vote, but I feel stronger about Bangy than anybody else. I will be more than willing to change my vote if it means someone I am less suspicious of, but still suspicious of, gets lynched. Vote: Bangy

My one post was one in which I voted to lynch F4E just to get the process rolling that is the game, and my second post was me reneging on that vote of support because I thought it was becoming clear that F4E was something other than mafia.

Razor stands up for F4E and gets killed. Now, let's see... who was it that went after JD hardcore? In the process of answering that question, I grow suspicious of both Zack and Sarge. They are both incredibly active in the thread, indicating that they are something other than normal townspeople. I admit that I initially voted to lynch F4E, but that was just to get things moving. I had no reasonable argument for his lynching. Zack and Sarge believed that they had good reasoning.

Initially, I voted for F4E just to get the game rolling. From past experience, things get far more interesting after the first lynching. However, F4E and Cuda have done an excellent job persuading me to retract my vote for F4E. Furthermore, I have suspicions, but I do not wish to share them at this time. I cannot afford to make enemies so early in the game. I am watching you, though. Unvote: F4E

I heard this on the radio this morning and thought it was interesting. If they decide to shake up the roster this offseason, pick your top 5 guys who need to stay. Obviously, Shady is going to be everybody's #1, so I guess this is more of a pick four besides Shady. <_<

Game 19 - When he threw it, it was only a 12 point lead as you said. Also, the fact that the Colts scored again suggests there was time enough on the clock for the Lions. Game 25 - I don't have anything on this. Must have missed it when looking at his streak before. :/ Game 40 - That pass made it a one possession lead. Since the Packers scored again, there was probably enough time for the Colts to get another TD. So game 25 would be the only question mark out of those 3, and, much to Thanatos's delight, I must admit that I was not there.

I can't say that I do. I would like to, but I can't. I will say that it is clear that Brees and the Saints playcallers were going more for keeping the streak alive than scoring on the Rams, though. They didn't have to limit the run game to six plays in the fourth quarter. If I were in Brees's position, I probably would have done the same, though. Since I'm not, I can say that I just wish that game had been different. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have gone for it. I'm saying it sucks that the TD Brees threw for in this game is part of the streak. As far as I know, every TD pass Unitas threw for was competitive with the opposing team, not with the record book.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=311030014 The fact that Brees threw a TD pass with 6 seconds left in the fourth quarter when the Saints were down by 17 kind of makes me sick that Brees broke the record. 21 of his 44 attempts that game came in the fourth quarter. That touchdown didn't mean anything to me anymore. It was a meaningless TD made in garbage time. It sucks that the record was broken with passes like that.

Yes, I know about the economies of scale. I still don't see any benefit to the program. They have never been used in combat and I don't see how they would have been used in the near future.

You were right. I misspoke (mistyped?). The program unit cost is over $360 million per aircraft, not the production cost. What I'm more curious about, though, is how cutting the F-22 program was the stupidest and most inept thing we have done in the military in a long time. How is this the case?

You realize that each F-22 cost over $360 million to produce and $175 million to procure? At 181 jets produced, that is over $95 billion dollars (excluding the cost of the R&D, I believe) gone into the F-22. How many times has this jet been used in actual combat? Zero. The F-22 program is exactly the kind of program we need to cut. Reallocate that money, if you desire, but it is being used very inefficiently by funding programs like the F-22 program.
