RazorStar 4,025 Posted July 5, 2011 Well let's see if we can get up to the mythical 3 games over .500 mark.
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted July 5, 2011 The Pirates did, today.... just like I said they would.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 5, 2011 Thankfully Caden isn't crashing and burning like I thought he would. His average leveled out and is now a steady .280, which I am okay with. I would like it closer to .300, but I really don't want it below .275 *knock on wood*
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted July 5, 2011 With these new pitchers, and of course more progression, I see us definitely making the playoffs next year.

Bangy 19 Posted July 14, 2011 Sick was it just the National League I lead with Triples or the entire league? Though my HR numbers were terribad this year
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 15, 2011 Sick was it just the National League I lead with Triples or the entire league? Though my HR numbers were terribad this year Eh. Not everyone on a team should be hitting 20+ homers anyway
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted July 15, 2011 (edited) Yeah, as players have progressed, we've found our styles. Guys like Mav, Sarge, and Bangy have all become strictly contact hitters, whereas Mav and Bangy are exceptional at speed/baserunning while Sarge is best at plate discipline/vision. RazorStar 4,025 Posted July 15, 2011 I'm the guy who doesn't do anything well, but gets a lot of credit for it. Like Joe Carter.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted July 15, 2011 I'm the guy who doesn't do anything well, but gets a lot of credit for it. Like Joe Carter. I'd say your guy is more of a jack of all trades, master of none type. Above average power and contact but he won't hit 30 HRs or bat well over .300, enough speed to steal bases, and a switch hitter. Just gotta work on your damn fielding. Lieutenant Dan 7 Posted July 15, 2011 Yamaury is a surgeon with the bat, Hopefully the team as a whole will improve next year I'm sure we will.
