Seahawks sign Zach Miller

Zach Miller is heading to Seattle.

Miller, the tight end who was one of the best remaining NFL free agents available, has made a surprising decision to sign with the Seahawks after it looked like he would stay with the Raiders, ESPN is reporting.

The Raiders took Miller in the second round of the 2007 draft, and he’s been their starting tight end since. Last year he led the Raiders in catches (60), receiving yards (685) and receiving touchdowns (five).

Miller will be the Seahawks’ starter at tight end, and perhaps Tarvaris Jackson’s most important receiver.

It's Miller Time!!!

Wow this FA couldn't be any better time to get a QB in the upcoming draft and a CB in FA next season.

Wow. We actually got him? I suddenly find myself rooting for a team with an actual offense for once! YAY!

Now watch as the entirety of the NFL start picking apart Zach Miller just like they've done to downplay everyone else the Seahawks have signed.

Nobody will ever pick apart Zack Miller. He's 255 lbs of fury that is a dominating run blocker, and has over 680 recieving yards each of the last three years. Former 1st round pick, and usually he's in the 700-800 range. Not to mention his OL Coach and teammate R. Gallery from Oakland are already here.

This will be great for Tarvaris Jackson. There's a great tight end in Minny and he always played well with TJack. This will do wonders for your offense.

The Raiders are now flirting with Kevin Boss a little, trying to lure him to Oakland. The thing is, Boss wants the kind of contract Miller got, but he's not near the player Miller is. They have a ton of money tied up with Darius Heyward Bey and Darren McFadden.
