Shotgun 442 Posted November 14, 2011 Rex Ryan could be in hot water with the league after a video clip of a salty verbal exchange with a fan surfaced online. The video -- which appears to have been taken as the Jets headed to their locker room at halftime of their 37-16 loss to the Patriots on Sunday night -- features an unseen fan telling Ryan that Bill Belichick is "better than" him. Ryan responded by telling the fan to be quiet, though he said so in a far more colorful way. Ryan was fined $50,000 by the Jets in 2010 after he was caught on a cellphone camera giving the middle finger to a fan during a mixed martial arts event in Florida. The Star-Ledger reported Monday that the NFL "will take a look at it," according to a league spokesman. It turns out Ryan might not have been the only coach caught using vulgar language on Sunday night. The New York Post reported that as Belichick left the field, he put his arm around his son before uttering an obscenity in relation to the Jets' defense. Asked about the report on Monday, Belichick was predictably tight-lipped, according to the Boston Herald. "I don't remember it like that," he said. Who says Bill Belichick is a boring? As the Patriots coach walked off the MetLife Stadium field, he threw his arm around his son, Stephen, and added an exclamation mark to the Patriots' 37-16 victory over the Jets. "Thirty-seven points on the best defense in the league, s--- my d---," the Patriots coach said in celebration.
