SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 30, 2012 Welcome back to the offseason, National Champions. This offseason should be even faster than the last one, since I won't be giving a detailed strategy of recruiting, just a final list of commitments. I think at this point we're all anxious and excited to get into junior year and see just how good this team can be. School Budgets Training: 60% Recruiting: 25% Discipline: 15% Once again, our primary focus is on training so that our current corps of players can be as beastly as they can be. The recruiting budget will be more than enough to do what we need to do (more on that in a second) and the discipline budget will be enough to keep us from getting sanctioned should some of our players get into trouble. Recruiting Strategy We have already acquired sufficient depth at every position, except perhaps tight end. So the primary goal of this recruiting class will be to find an upgrade at kicker/punter and get some depth at tight end. Our secondary objective is simply to recruit the best players possible and get the best recruiting class we can. Don't worry, though, nobody's going to lose any playing time; this is just preparing for the wave of players who bolt for the NFL after junior year. Committed Players WR Richard Burnette, 6'1" 169lbs, Charleston, IL, 5 stars OT Reggie Harrison, 6'4" 280lbs, Castro Valley, CA, 4 stars WR Billy Murphy, 6'1" 166lbs, Richmond, VA, 4 stars OLB Andrew Weiss, 6'3" 198lbs, Eastchester, NY, 4 stars FS Rob Fry, 6'1" 220lbs, Crossville, TN, 4 stars OG Eddie Durfee, 6'4" 286lbs, Landsdale, PA, 4 stars OG Jon Higgins, 6'4" 292lbs, Middletown, PA, 4 stars DE Ben Williams, 6'1" 260lbs, Philadelphia, MS, 4 stars FS Sidney Ball, 6'1" 186lbs, Bucyrus, OH, 4 stars OT Scott Petty, 6'6" 299lbs, Paducah, KY, 4 stars OG Scott Woods, 6'4" 292lbs, South Orange, NJ, 4 stars OLB Brad Leonard, 6'5" 236lbs, Houston, MS, 4 stars QB Stacy Ross, 6'1" 196lbs, Washington, D.C., 4 stars ATH Doug Goss, 6'0" 186lbs, Fort Bragg, NC, 3 stars CB Phil Simpson, 5'10" 175lbs, Oakland Park, FL, 3 stars Top Classes 1. Texas 2. Kansas State 3. LSU 4. Texas Tech 5. Florida ... 11. TGP Notes Not a bad recruiting class at all. Looks like TGP University will stay competitive once we all go on to bigger and better things.

seanbrock 1,684 Posted February 1, 2012 Our LB's are dirty. They don't rack up a ton of tackles because they're probably just not on the field that much but we all make a lot of big time impact plays.
