RazorStar 4,025 Posted February 22, 2012 Ok, you should be able to get the gist of this fairly easy. You vote for the player whom you think is better. Consider their 2011 season to be the main factor in your voting, and the year before as secondary. Throw potential out the window, it's about who is better right now. Each topic will have 3 matches to vote on, I'll do 4 divisions a day, and we should finish in 40 days, giving a few extra in case tiebreakers need to happen. The top two players in each division will move on to the single elimination tournament. Topics will close at 8 PM Eastern, the day after they are posted unless that amount of time is less than 24 hours. Anyway, get your votes in.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted February 22, 2012 Weatherspoon, Nicks and Stewart. I'm alone on the Stewart pick, but he's consistently one of the best backs in football and one of the hardest to bring down.

I agree with you about Stewart, but Gross is one of the best tackles in the league, too.
Shotgun 442 Posted February 22, 2012 I agree with you about Stewart, but Gross is one of the best tackles in the league, too. ^Yeah Stewart is good, but he's being way overvalued if he's being picked over Gross. He isn't even the best runner on his team when DeAngelo is 100% healthy and Gross is one of the better LT's in the league. In fact he is a fantastic run blocker so any success Stewart or DeAngelo has can be partly attributed to him.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted February 22, 2012 I still think Stewart is the best runner on his team, he's just not the home run hitter Angel is. They play to each other's strengths and that works in both of their favours. The thing about Gross is that he's still a good Left Tackle, but there are a lot of guys who are just as good if not better. It was a tough decision, I won't argue that, but I think Stewart is a special back.
