BLUE 1,026 Posted July 17, 2012 Per Rotoworld.com: Steelers re-signed LT Max Starks to a one-year contract."It's a great day, doc gave me a great report! On my way to being game ready," Starks wrote on his Twitter page while announcing his new contract. Six months removed from a torn ACL, Starks will almost certainly be eased into training camp. Once he's back to football shape, the 30-year-old will provide a fall-back plan on Ben Roethlisberger's blindside in case second-rounder Mike Adams needs more time to develop. Marcus Gilbert should be planted on the right side. Jul 17 - 2:23 PM

We don't wonder why, well at least most Steelers fans don't wonder why.
Barracuda 629 Posted July 20, 2012 The Pittsburgh Steelers have released veteran offensive tackle Jonathan Scott. The 29-year-old Scott started 14 games and three playoff games during his two seasons with the Steelers. Scott became expendable when Pittsburgh selected Ohio State tackle Mike Adams in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft and re-signed veteran Max Starks earlier this week. Scott, a fifth-round pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2006 Draft, played two years with the Lions and two more with the Buffalo Bills before signing with Pittsburgh before the 2010 season.
