Well... Fuck me in the ass.

 

DJ Smith is ready though, so we will be fine.

 

Smith proved that he could step up and be a key figure of the defence so I am excited to see how he does as a regular starter, suck for Desmond though he can't seem to consistently stay healthy. It now turns out keeping Hawk was a good move.

Mikel Leshoure - RB - Lions

Mikel Leshoure (hamstring) returned to individual drills Wednesday.

 

Leshoure had been out 14 straight days. Considering he's coming off an Achilles' tear and he's suspended for the first two games anyway, the Lions can afford to ease him back in. Leshoure will be looking to carve out a significant power-back role behind starter Kevin Smith.
