A.J. Jefferson will take over as the right cornerback in nickel packages, with Antoine Winfield staying in the slot and impressive third-round rookie Josh Robinson continuing to focus on left corner. Cook was given a 7-8 week recovery timetable after surgery to repair the arm fracture. He had 31 tackles and a sack in the first eight games.
