Vin+ 3,121 Posted January 19, 2013 Cowboys hired Rod Marinelli as defensive line coach. We don't typically blurb position coach hirings, but Marinelli is a good enough teacher to make a significant impact in Dallas. Along with new DC Monte Kiffin, Marinelli will bring a four-man front to a Cowboys defense that has long been a staple 3-4 team. Marinelli has gotten the best out of Simeon Rice and Julius Peppers, and should be able to maximize DeMarcus Ware's talents. Source: Todd Archer on Twitter Marinelli turned down staying with the Bears to become a D-line coach again? Weird.
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted January 19, 2013 Once he left the Bears, I knew he was going to Dallas. Wants to re-unite with Kiffin.
Milla4Prez63 678 Posted January 19, 2013 I think he only went to Chicago to reunite with Lovie, now he has a chance to work under Monte again.
Kardiac Kids 6 Posted January 19, 2013 He probably knows Kiffin won't be in the NFL very long and he will be in line to take the DC job.
