I'd say roughly 9am - 12pm.

Our host is in the process of transferring us to a better server. What happened this morning was them giving us a new IP address, and for those that were on early, the site was down until your ISP updated their IP data cache.

There will probably be some downtime Tuesday, as well, when they actually transfer us over to a new server.

  • The preparation of your account for the transfer starts today (Friday, February 22, 2013) with assigning a new transitional IP to it. This will not result in any downtime, but you and some people who have recently visited your website at the old IP location may experience problems accessing it for some time after the change due to IP data cache at their local Internet providers.
  • The actual physical transfer of your account data will take place on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 (01:00AM - 09:00AM CST). Your website may be inaccessible for a short period at that day while its files are moved from the old machine to the new one. Usually this process takes no more than a few minutes.
  • Our latest, high-end production machines are equipped with more powerful and reliable hardware. This will increase the quality of our services by enhancing the performance of our customers' websites in terms of both stability and speed and significantly reducing the risk of downtime.
  • Once the files are transferred, your account will be assigned its final new IP, but this time the change will not result in any DNS cache problems, as we will set up your domain name and we will redirect any traffic coming to the transitional IP used during the process to your final one.

Bumping for reminder. This probably also why we're getting the 503 errors.

Alright, just got the email that the conversion is complete, so the errors and whatnot should be done with.

Yay random upgrades.

Hey, as long as the site speeds up and stops with the errors. I will take random upgrades.
