KempBolt 498 Posted October 21, 2013 It's funny... this FG penalty is getting WAY more attention than the one that I complained cost us the game Vs. the Texans in week one. And the NFL actually came out and said that the call was wrong in our game. The reality of being a less popular NFL market I suppose. Uh no. It's because, as we explained, San Diego had ample opportunity to come back from it. This was in OT, the Pats had no chance. However, the refs are technically correct, its just they've never called that before. And as I explained, 4 points are 4 points. They count the same at any point in the game. Off topic: what exactly did I do to piss you off?
BwareDWare94 723 Posted October 21, 2013 Things I don't care about: 1. The rare time that the Pats get screwed by a call.

The Chargers had an entire quarter to do something about it. 4 points are not just 4 points, it matters when they happened. The entire game is changed if they don't get it, you can't just say, well we would have won otherwise. In OT, they had no time to try to do anything. Thus, the call is given more weight. It just seems to me lately that you'll come after anything I post with criticisms that I've usually already addressed in the post that you're responding to quoting. Made me wonder if there was something about me that was bothering you in general.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted October 24, 2013 I'm not disagreeing with you that the Chargers got shafted, I'm explaining why public perception is that the Patriots got MORE shafted.
