Vin+ 3,121 Posted January 25, 2014 Giants coach Tom Coughlin told ESPN Radio he could see himself coaching multiple years past 2014. The 67-year-old Coughlin cited his and his wife Judy's good health as reasons pushing him to stay in the NFL. Co-owner John Mara confirmed Coughlin would be the Giants' head coach at least next season "and hopefully for longer than that." Coughlin is 97-73 with two Super Bowl wins in 10 seasons with the G-Men. Source: ESPN.com Kinda surprised by this. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him ride off into the sunset at the conclusion of next season.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted January 25, 2014 Great coach. His work in NY has been awesome and earned him 2 Lombardi's but he was great in Jacksonville too.
Plax 4 Prez 21 Posted January 28, 2014 Think he's gonna coach till he or his wife become unhealthy or sick. Coaching is his life. After he was fired from the Jags he spent his off-seasons studying film, coming in to teams camps, going to the combine, and even interviewed with the Bengals
Vin+ 3,121 Posted February 22, 2014 Giants signed head coach Tom Coughlin to a one-year, $7 million extension. Coughlin is now signed through 2015. The 67-year-old has led the Giants to two Super Bowl titles and will likely be able to coach the team for however long he pleases, though the front office stepped in this offseason to force some changes to Coughlin's coaching staff. Coughlin "could see himself" coaching past 2014. Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter
