Bay 2,003 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) Create the best team possible using AFC players vs. NFC players. Who wins the game and why? Thought this we be fun. Like a Pro Bowl Super Bowl. Run the offense and defense however you see fit. QB: Tom Brady HB: Jamaal Charles... had Bell originally. I'd take either WR: Antonio Brown WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: A.J. Green... T.Y. Hilton strongly considered TE: Rob Gronkowski LT: LG: C: RG: RT: Edited November 26, 2014 by Bay
RazorStar 4,025 Posted November 26, 2014 (edited) QB: Aaron Rodgers HB: DeMarco Murray WR: Jordy Nelson WR: Golden Tate WR: Dez Bryant TE: Jimmy Graham LT: Tyron Smith LG: Evan Mathis C: Max Unger RG: Josh Sitton RT: Jason Peters (cheating, so sue me) Defense: DE: Robert Quinn DT: Ndamukong Suh DT: Aaron Donald DE: Calais Campbell OLB: Thomas Davis MLB: Bobby Wagner OLB: DeAndre Levy CB: Richard Sherman CB: Brandon Boykin FS: Earl Thomas SS: Antoine Bethea K: Blair Walsh P: Johnny Hekker KRs: Darren Sproles and Benny Cunningham Edited November 26, 2014 by RazorStar Different WR's
Thanatos 2,847 Posted November 26, 2014 Are we talking about this year, or overall? My list looks very different from Razor's, but I was going this year.
Bay 2,003 Posted November 26, 2014 This year. I'm bad with oline but I'll try and get up the NFC side. Rodgers is hard to pick against but let's see.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted November 26, 2014 I'm doing this year as well. I had a few tough choices to make, like an actual RT or a better LT, middle linebacker and safeties (Kam Chancellor and Harrison Smith would be a great second team). Also whether to put Hurricane Aaron ahead of Gerald McCoy or not.
theMileHighGuy 656 Posted November 26, 2014 I'm going to assume this would be an exhibition game, therefore it would be meaningless to win, therefore.. QB: Peyton Manning (Den) RB: Jamal Charles (KC) WR: Demaryius Thomas (Den) WR: Antonio Brown (Pit) TE: Rob Gronkowski (NE) TE: Julius Thomas (Den, we run two TE here ) LT: Ryan Clady (Den) LG: Andy Levitre (Ten) C: Alex Mack (Cle) RG: Louis Vasquez (Den) RT: Joe Thomas (Cle) DE: JJ Watt (Hou) DT: Terrance Knighton (Den) DT: Kyle Williams (Buf) DE: Muhammed Wilkerson (NYJ) OLB: Von Miller (Den) MLB: Kiko Alonzo (Buf) OLB: Danny Trevathan (Den) CB: Darrel Revis (NE) CB: Chris Harris Jr. (Den) FS: Eric Weddle (SD) SS: Reshad Jones (Miami) Thoughts: Some people are out of their natural positions... but fuck you, it's my team. Reshad Jones might be a surprise, but he's been a beast. A couple of these guys are injured as well, but again, fuck you - it's my team. CB2 was really close between CH2 and Brent Grimes, I think Grimes is probably a bit better in coverage, but CH2's tenacity and tackling are Champ-esque. vs. QB: Aaron Rodgers (GB) RB: Adrian Peterson (Min, sorry.) WR: Calvin Johnson (Det) WR: Dez Bryant (Dal) TE: Jimmy Graham (NO) TE: Greg Olsen (Car) LT: Trent Williams (Was) LG: Evan Mathis (Phi) C: Travis Frederick (Dal) RG: Josh Sitton (GB) RT: Joe Staley (SF) DE: Robert Quinn (Stl) DT: Gerald McCoy (TB) DT: Ndamukong Suh (Det) DE: Calais Cambell (Ari) OLB: Navarro Bowman (SF) MLB: Luke Keuchly (Car) OLB: Lavonte David (TB) CB: Richard Sherman (Sea) CB: Patrick Peterson (Ari) FS: Jairus Byrd (NO) SS: Kam Chancellor (Sea) Thoughts: Yeah, I still think AP is the best back in the game, fuck you, it's my team. Most would probably put Jason Witten in at TE as a lock. It was a toss up for me but I think Olsen has more potential in an all-star offense. I don't really have any love for Patrick Peterson, I think he's been rather mediocre, but no one else in the NFC really blows me away either, so. -- It's really hard to say who would win. It would probably come down to the team with the least penalties. However, I really like the AFC front-seven on defense.
Bay 2,003 Posted November 26, 2014 Wanted this to be a real game so obviously Peyton shouldn't be the AFC QB.

.AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted November 26, 2014 Andy Levitre is a far, FAR cry from his Buffalo self. Doesn't belong on the AFC list.
