"No timetable" on Jordan Reed's return

Recommended Posts

Redskins TE Jordan Reed suffered a concussion Week 4 against the Eagles.
Reed was forced from the game after taking a knee to the helmet late in the fourth quarter. Reed has a long history of concussions going back to college and missed the final six games of 2013 after suffering two concussions in three weeks. Reed caught 5-of-8 targets for 37 yards before leaving the game. Oct 4 - 4:34 PM

Redskins coach Jay Gruden provided "no timetable" on Jordan Reed's recovery from his latest concussion, and revealed Monday that Reed also sprained his ankle and knee in Sunday's upset of the Eagles.
Reed is believed to have suffered at least five concussions dating back to his time at the University of Florida. In addition, he is dealing with a sprained MCL and ankle, and Gruden expressed that he is "concerned" with Reed's health. Fantasy owners can't count on Reed to play Sunday against the Falcons. Derek Carrier would be the next man up at tight end in Washington. Reed leads the Redskins with 24 receptions for 278 yards through four games. Oct 5 - 3:21 PM
