Thanatos 2,847 Posted September 21, 2016 Heard the same tired old tune for 3 years straight now.
56AceInDaPlace 110 Posted September 22, 2016 OK, let's say that happens. The Patriots have gone 11-5 with Matt Cassel and they are 2-0 with GOP right now. They have the system to continue success. Besides Brady takes care of himself, he could play another 2-3 years honestly. It would take a injury to keep him out. He isn't going to randomly start missing easy throws either.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted September 23, 2016 as soon as the Back up went down, they were scored on at will by a team who barely scored the previous week. Is Brady going to be so good he can compensate for that much ineptitude? That Patriots defense looked like it couldnt stop anything in the 4th qtr.,because it didnt stop anything. They were lucky the clock ran out. This totally inept Patriots team tonight guise. How about that awful defense that let the Fins score on them at will? Totally a HUGE problem for NE going forward, amiright? How is Brady going to be able to compensate?
56AceInDaPlace 110 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) As a divional rival, I enjoy this. Even though I picked Houston to win. Patriots defense is solid. 3-0 without Brady. That's just a great coached team. Elliot, I'm guessing that prediction isn't looking too good lol. It happens Edited September 23, 2016 by 56AceInDaPlace
Thanatos 2,847 Posted September 23, 2016 They just absolutely shit all over what is likely a playoff team with Jacoby Brissett and no Gronk. And you really think Tom Brady is going to make them worse?
Thanatos 2,847 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) That's because you have a hard-on for Luck and the Colts. Houston is still going to win the AFC South. I agree they aren't the cream of the crop in any sense, but still, they are a decent football team and NE just beat them 27-0 with a 3rd string QB and Gronk hardly playing at all. When Brady and Gronk get back, assuming the team remains healthy, Pittsburgh and Denver are the only two teams in the AFC that pose a threat to the Patriots. 56AceInDaPlace 110 Posted September 24, 2016 Even if the Texans don't win another game. That's not the point. You stated the Patriots would fall. Unless I'm tripping, I couldn't name another team that could lose a top 5 QB, and arguably the best tightends. And start 3-0. While winning 27-0 with a THIRD STRING QB. You can downplay the Texans but so far nothing you have predicted on the Patriots has even given a glimmer of hope, that you would be correct. Yes there is still time but it's not looking good lol. Wentz World 5 Posted October 3, 2016 Bills seem to be better offensively without him.
