Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Chris Berman is stepping down from his post of hosting ESPN's NFL studio programming after 31 seasons but will remain with the network in a number of different roles after signing a new contract on Thursday. Berman, a six-time National Sportscaster of the Year honoree, will remain as ESPN's host of NFL Primetime highlights after the NFL championship week games and the Super Bowl, and will have a role on Monday Night Countdown, offering opinion and perspective on historical events in the NFL. He will also call an MLB division series for ESPN Radio and be part of the ESPY Awards. http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/18413458/chris-berman-leaving-espn-nfl-host-role-remains-network-new-deal He's been in obvious decline for a few years now. What a legend though. Wonder who he will be replaced with. ESPN has done A LOT of revamping in the last 2-3 years with their on air NFL coverage. This kind of caps it all. BwareDWare94 723 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Berman has really fallen off the wagon in recent years. I can't remember the last time he didn't sound drunk of his ass. Edited January 12, 2017 by BwareDWare94
