RazorStar 4,025 Posted June 1, 2017 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000812534/article/new-york-jets-trading-calvin-pryor-to-browns After drafting safeties with their first- and second-round picks this year, the Jets no longer had a need for 2014 first-rounder Calvin Pryor. The depth and change in defensive direction allowed for Thursday's trade, which sent Pryor to the Cleveland Browns, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, who first reported the development. In return, the Browns are sending back linebacker Demario Davis, whom the Browns signed in free agency last year -- away from the Jets. The Browns later confirmed the trade agreement. I like this move for the Browns, they get some much needed defensive back depth, and can hopefully ease Javier Peppers into his new role as playmaker on that defense. I still don't think they're playoff bound yet, but they should actually be competitive in games this season.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted June 1, 2017 Sign a player away from the Jets.. trade him back to the Jets the next year for a team need. Can't hate it.
Omerta+ 1,206 Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) The browns are becoming very competent, which could be trouble for the Ravens and the Bengals who are both ran by incompetent people. Hue Jackson should have been the Ravens HC period, now we will rue the day we thought some smart ass, ill tempered, whiny, special teams reject, little egomaniac shit head should run the show in Charm City.
