ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted July 28, 2017 Rams GM Les Snead is uncertain if DT Aaron Donald will report to training camp or hold out. Snead took a conciliatory tone, saying if Donald held out it's something the Rams would "(have) to respect." He added it's a "complicated situation," and that the sides are "working toward finding a solution." Donald is under team control for two more years, but the fifth-year team option is guaranteed for injury only in 2018. One of the league's three best defensive players, Donald isn't going to wait any longer to get paid. Donald turned 26 in May.
Cherry 1,302 Posted July 28, 2017 If we pay Tavon Austin and not Aaron Donald we should chop some more heads.
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted August 17, 2017 ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rams DT Aaron Donald is threatening to extend his holdout into the regular season. One source tells Schefter Donald could hold out the entire season. That's extremely unlikely, but speaks to a negotiating process that's currently going nowhere. Donald is ready to play hardball. The Rams' season kicks off in 24 days. Rams are trying to move forward in the right direction... but without their best player that kinda puts a damper on things. Cherry 1,302 Posted August 18, 2017 You're going to pay Robert Woods and Tavon Austin but not one of the best defenders in the league? Fucking pay the man.
